When I recover my accoun due to some WP achievements not displaying.

This is a common error that happens to me all the time. The only way I know how to fix it, is to unlock an achievement on Xbox 360, then your gamerscore will be back to normal. Or you can just wait a while till it fixes on it's own.

It is a weird glitch, but only you can see the decrease in your gamerscore, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

some scum bag did the same thing to me with that stupid fifa 12 and used 2700 points to buy some thing i called microsoft and within 3 days they refunded me the points but now i cant take that stupid game and the achievements off my accoun

For us the signing out doesn't make any difference, I've tried playing on a different xbox that only has my account and I still can't earn some of the achievements. If an achievement has glitched at some point due to multiple accounts signed in at the same
time there is no way to recover from that.

I'm having same / similar problems. I have no problems on re-downloading my WP games but I do have problems on any other platform besides WP to show the achievements unlocked.

I have unlocked achievements on my Lumia 950 running windows mobile 10. The achievements pop up just fine and sites like trueachievements track them without a problem, BUT on my win10 machine the "xbox companion app" doesn't show these games or the unlocked
achievements.

Say I play a game X on xbox one and after that a game Y on Win10 and after that game Z on windows phone. Unlocking achievements on all of those games.

When I then view the xbox companion app, I see it listing my previously played games Y and X, but no Z. It also doesn't show any of the WP games on my games list etc.

I can play numerous different WP games, unlocking achievements or not, it just doesn't list any of them. Also I don't get any "achievement unlocked" notifications on Win10 when I unlocked them in WP games, but win10 and xbox one achievements do give me
the notification.

tl;dr Only WP shows the games and achievements unlocked for WP games. Other platforms completely ignore these.

EDIT: I also find it very morally dubious for MS to still sell these games on the market place when at the same time people are complaining the games/achievements are not working anymore only to get that passive-agressive "well we told you YEARS ago that
the support is coming to an end" copy/paste response from Ambassadors.

EDIT2: I've also noticed that for those older Win8 games with achievements the game bar's achievement tracker says "this game doesn't have any achievements" when they clearly do have. I wonder if this is somehow related?

even if ur connected to live it saves to your profile?

i just realized something

i recovered my profile on a friends xbox and i go home and play offlien on mine without recovering my profile. i got some achievements. so when i recover my profile on my xbox will i still have these achievements?
