when i join a party i hear double of my friend

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. What that is called is feedback. Either you or a friend headset is picking up the chat so you hear them talk then the replay. This happens a lot when people use Kinect, or they have chat coming through
the TV. Thing to do to test is turn down Mic monitoring in audio setting. Also make sure in display and sound>volume> party chat output is on headset only.

Is it playing static on your end or your friends? When I join a friends party they say they hear a weed Wacker sound coming from my mic and can't hear anything I say to them

I can join parties and clubs + my friends can hear me.

Same thing here. Just happened about 20 minutes ago. I was in a game in a party with friends and all the sudden i couldnt hear anyone and no one could hear me and i disconnected. When i tried to go back to join in the party, all my friends aplear as “offline”.
Every few minutes 1 or 2 friends will appear online but when i join their party i still cant hear anything. Then they appear offline again. Any idea whats going on?

edit: I tried to hard reset twice and had reset my router, but it still appears the same way. At this point im out of ideas

The only problem I have regularly is when joining a party, I can hear my friends, but they can't hear me. And when I look in the party, it doesn't display that I am putting out any sound. Usually backing out and inviting them to a party fixes it. But a few
times I have had to hard reboot.
