I can choose the sign in button but my account isn’t on the 360 emulator (because a possible solution was to remove the profile off of the xbox one and 360 emulator) so it directs me to download a profile. when this problem first started happening my
account was on the 360 emulator but if I chose to sign in it would say it couldn’t connect to Xbox live so it couldn’t sign me into my profile.

Hey, guys! Make sure the 360 Guide says that you are signed in when you launch the game. If achievements are showing up as "offline", then this means that your profile hasn't properly downloaded to the Xbox One.

If you hit the Menu and View buttons on your controller to bring up the Guide for the 360 emulator and it says "Connect to Live", do that. Your achievements should properly pop after that.

One thing we've noticed here is if you have two-step verification on, your 360 emulator will not sign in properly. Please remove two-step verification from your account on our
account.microsoft.com page and it should sign you in without issue the next time you try to connect in the emulator.

Have you recovered/redownloaded the gamertag inside the 360 emulator? I know that I had issues signing in and it was because the 360 emulator didn't have my most up to date profile information.

I'm having the issues as well. I can't sign in to my profile when trying to play any 360 games on the One. It says tes network connectivity, but when I do it says I'm fully connected. Always the same every time.

I tried disabling 2fa and setting my password to 15 characters. When I rebooted my xbox one, i had to re-sign in and starting another 360 game (Mirror's Edge) re-fetched something in the emulator.

That being said, I'm still getting the "can't connect" error if I try to download my profile inside the emulator.

I dug out my old 360 and it could sign into Xbox Live when 2fa was enabled.
