    Already did a full reset. It starts on the home tab and the moment I touch the controller it moves to the store tab. It does move left but bounces right back to the store tab. Any access I can get is through that tab. Moving the cursor up and down and
    it moves fast and takes forever to find the correct tab as it bounces around violently. The xbox has been doing this for a month and it was only purchased in December of last year through the xbox online store. I'm quite annoyed as it has less than 100 hours
    or less of usage. Special edition minecraft. And I've lost all the free time of xbox live I had on it.

    Hi Abzu,

    We suggest doing a
    soft factory reset    . This should fix any issue if it is the console. Try this and let us know. With the console there is no control movement left or right. This is all done with the controllers. The controllers are reading they are pushed right. Why we mentioned
    the troubleshooting steps of removing batteries. It resets the controller.

    All of that has already been tried with 3 controllers. The title of this question even stated this. It is an xbox console issue, that's all I know.

    Hi Abzu,

    Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand you are having issue with your controllers. Try and

    power cycle     the console off. Once it is off remove the batteries from the controller for 1 minute. After the minute is over turn on the console by the power button on the console. Then put the batteries back in the controller, and resync the controller.
    After this then connect the controller with a USB and update the controller.

    Try this and let us know.
