nope this account is on my xbox but it wont share my gold membership with the account and when i try to get the free tiral gold it trys to do a security question the ask you to fill in your email for cagethelonewolf and not this account

If i try to get into fortnite it will freeze and i have to turn the xbox off and try to get bavk on but then fortnite wont let me in 😊

You are correct Fortnite does store all of your progression in the current season, skins, stats and so on server side.

This does not change the necessity for a local save data to be present to even launch the game.

Every game has save data, this is where you settings for your sensitivity or key bindings are also stored.

So there is a possibility for save data to be corrupt and result in constant crashes.

It's happened to me on Fortnite, Apex, Rocket League, and CoD.

It happens to me a lot because I use HotSpot data sometimes to download the games.

Please look for yourself and you will see there is local save data for Fortnite, please delete this data as well as any cloud syncing back up you may have active and then try to play the game.

This sounds like there is corruption in the save file.

Do you have a save data file that is older then your current save data?

You could revert to the other save data to try to minimize loss, however if the save data is corrupted you will unfortunately lose all the save data and your progress.

A way to test it would be to back up your save data somewhere inaccessible by the game and then try to launch the game with a brand new save.

If the game works then you know it is corruption in your save data.

Hey, thanks for getting back to me.

Fortnite is a game where data is stored in the internet, not local files. I am not sure how I would be able to revert to data though, since Fortnite can't be reverted to previous updates.
