when game mode on，Which games will be optimized ？

There are no specific game listed, but when game mode is on it is enabled for all the games. It generally doesn't do much when all your background tasks are disabled. It works when you've other background tasks running and then you play your game and it
provides extra resources to the game.

What games are crashing? Some, or all of them?

Games from the Windows Store (or Game Pass) either have Fullscreen Optimization enabled by default or run in Windowed Borderless mode which shouldn't cause games to crash when attempting to ALT+TAB.

You can check whether Fullscreen Optimizations are enabled or not by opening the Xbox Game Bar via Win+G. If you are running in Fullscreen Exclusive, then the display brightness may be flicker. If you are in Fullscreen Optimizations, the Xbox Game Bar should pop up as an overlay.

Sounds more like a graphics driver issue to me.

Windows Apps can not have Fullscreen Optimization disabled as it's not possible to access their exe file to disable them.

It’s not a matter of the Series S being underpowered, seeing that other games manage to get good performance, it’s the simple case of the game not being optimized properly. The series S can run this game at 1080p ( dynamic resolution) and 60fps.

Even the performance mode on Series X is only 1080p 60fps which speaks for itself, and that is the most powerful system. It’s not a question of the series S being underpowered but the game not properly optimized. Tons of other games get great performance on the S

TDM is only good for getting attachments for guns without worrying about an objective.

The maps are all shite. Battlefield is not designed to be a TDM game type so everyone sticks to one part of the map. Metro, Bazaar, and Seine are probably the worst just like they are for Conquest.

Which brings me to my point, play Conquest. For a new player, it's easier to get points in and therefore rank up.
