According to your description there are several possible ways:

1. It is possible that your network latency is a bit serious, you can try to change a stable network environment.

2. Turn down your graphic quality within the game settings.

3. If you have some third-party optimization software, you can use them to clean up your system cache.

I get that same feeling Arkham99, that damn input lag.

When ever I try to revive someone. Sometimes, it just feels like some lag is there even when I do my powers. I'm used to it happening immediately in single player, and when ever I do something, it seems like there's some input lag.

That input lag has gotten me killed a few times when playing as the vanguard.

It seems like my charge take a second to actually charge someone after i've pressed the button to do so. and A second is ALL it takes for things to go down hill. I want to start charging the instant I press the button.

On mass Effect 2, it seemed easier to charge people, like I can no longer charge people behind cover in this game and that sometimes gets me in trouble as it leaves me without a target to charge and restore my shields.

Using kinect to push the controller forward has worked incredibly well for me 99% of the time - I was very impressed because I sit in a computer chair with my feet up on a stool, facing the TV. It had no problems working with Kinect. There are times when
I leave the room and come back, and it will not detect my movements but I switch it to buttons then back to kinect and iti works again.

If it's not working at all even with button presses, there's something very wrong. Do the buttons ever not work in other games, or even the dashboard? Are you playing wired or wireless?

Sometimes in Dead Rising 3 you need to just press the button once, but sometimes you're required to tap it a few times - it's hard to know which to do, so try tapping the button quickly rather than just pressing it once.

do you have this issue with games you last played and then shut off your console? as i sometimes have this issue when the game says to resume instead of launch, i just press the menu button on my controller to close the game, wait a few seconds then launch
it again and works fine for me then.

Give that a go

When I press start it lets me choose my profile to play and after it will just keep loading or sometimes it will just crash completely and take me back to home.
