When does the XBOX One comes to the Netherlands???

It's not a hard question, but when does the XBOX One comes to the Netherlands??? And why so late??? We are the country with the most Gamers! I really want some anwers.... Can someone give me the wright answers???

App does suck they need a new videos section thats all i want. I subscribe to channels to see the new content in thia app i have to go on every channel 1 by 1 to select the new videos separately. USELESS!!!

You may be best importing one from a nearby European Country, if you cannot wait. but remember Microsoft will not cover any warranty on outside launch countries, and you may be libel for paying for return and repair costs

 

no idea the date, but from what I can work out, the teritories its been released with are the lannguages the kinect supports, so its a case of Xbox putting the langauge.

 

There is no reason why they could not release the console in these countries, even with the language issues, a lot of these countries have English speaking people, and most of the Xbox One purchasers, i am sure want to play the games, and are not so worried
about when their native language is supported.

A lot of the features that the US have, we don't get here in Europe Anyway. So why would they release anywhere but the US. If the Xbox One has been released in many EU Countries, like i said. It should really be released everywhere else.

The main majority of people will be using their Xbox One for playing games to start of with. And that does not require anything else, than buying the console, updating it, and banging your disc in.

 

Doesn't the TV support require either licensing or agreements with cable/sat companies for them to display proper channels?? I have seen many complaints about this in this forum, both not having kinect language support and support for their particular TV
HDMI pass through device....some might be fine with just playing games, but there are plenty who would be constantly hounding Microsoft for "when is x going to be supported"...

 

The UK, does not have dedicated support of TV Overlay, and neither does anyone else except US. But the console was still launched in these European Countries, So again. Tv Overlay is not an issue. As hundreds of thousands, if not over a million people in
Europe have purchased an Xbox One

If TV Overlay was the issue. The console would still be only launched in the US.

Also, A lot of people in the EU are experiencing problems with the TV Passthrough, in the form of Juddering, from the Hz difference between the US and EU, as US runs at 60Hz, and EU runs at 50Hz. It has always been this way, even during the old consoles
of Snes and Megadrive (Drive). The US versions were considered better because they run at a higher Hz.

I thought some of the European countries had full TV support.....I guess the main reason they didn't release wider; was to make sure a core of countries that have higher sell rate of xbox consoles during the xmas window had a lot of stock available? That
is the only thing I can think of?? If so, hope they get out to others sooner now....

But now with the release of them saying that they had shipped 3.9 million Units, and sold 3 million. You would think those 900,000 units could be used to sell in the countries that are waiting, I am sure they would get lapped up, very very quickly.

 

Thnx for the info. I'm really disappointed in MS! Why not The Netherlands? I'm game a Lot, and everything in mij house is Windows. XBOX 360, Windows Phone 8, Surface 2 and a new Desktop with Windows 8. But not the XBOX One!!! That's the only thing I really
miss. I want a confirmation from MS!! They really let us down....

 

Op: look on the bright side, the 360 has some great games coming that aren't on the xboxone like , the stick of truth and castlevania.

Hopefully when the Xbox One does release in your country it will patched and running great.

 

I'm going to get it from Germany this month and am from Holland a.k.a. The Netherlands aswell. Just get one from another country, most games will be region free aswell (I have Rock Band for the 360 from Germany as example, still is English). The only problem
will be DLC, I'm not going to buy any DLC until the Xbox One is officially released here.

Getting Dead Rising 3, Ryse and Forza, also a few people I know got it from Germany . Just change the location setting to The Netherlands when it's officially released and it'll be fine, hopefully like now they'll let us keep English text though... I prefer
English.
