When do you think servers for xbox 360 will shut down?

Hi everyone. I've got the 500GB version of the xbox 360 that includes forza horizon 2, I bought it last november and I love playing on it because there are a lot of great games for it. I still don't want to upgrade to xbox one, though. One of the reasons
is that it doesn't have as many exclusives I like as the xbox 360 does. Yes, sometimes I wish I could afford for an xbox one S just because of voodoo vince remastered, call of duty ww2 and halo 5, which aren't available on xbox 360 and since more and more
xbox 360 games are being made backward compatible, that's another reason.

I was wondering how long you think servers for xbox 360 will last?

as I said earlier, I still don't want to upgrade to xbox one, although someday all xbox 360 users will have to upgrade to xbox one.

So what do you think?

Would it be Ok with you if you let me know how good or bad my english is?

Xbox live ending on 360 in 2016?

Of course the 360 servers are used for backwards compatibility,not sure why you think they aren't.

Halo 2 used to run on the original xbox servers so of course the online shut down when live shut down for the original xbox.

What difference does it make when the original xbox servers were shut down, the point is that they were eventually shut down. The whole point of this discussion is to find out what others think will happen to the xbox 360 servers EVENTUALLY!

While Xbox 360 backward compatibility is still going strong on the Xbox One,
I don't imagine that they are going to cut off Xbox Live Gold to 360 titles any time soon. There are no announcements from Microsoft, or any rumors going around, so I wouldn't worry.

Developers aren't making new Xbox 360 games anymore, so it's a good time to start saving up money for an Xbox One! You can still play multiplayer on backward compatible 360 titles with the Xbox One.

Pending you don't delete your content, you will always be able to play it on your 360. Servers, like previous generations, don't shut down for a long time. Xbox OG for instance took 5 years to shut down it's servers. I think that is plenty of time to either
get a new console, or switch to PC gaming.

I'm not sure when, but I don't think it will be anytime soon. I think as long as the 360 servers stay active they won't wanna shut the servers down.

Perhaps in 3 years the XB1 price will drop like the 360 and it will make others able to afford the system. Maybe once then MS will consider dropping the 360 servers. I mean they did do it with the original XBOX, correct? And everyone found their way to the
360.
