When do we finally see amazing exclusive games on Xbox ONE?

Oh, old memories. This game was amazing on the original Xbox console. I would love to see a new one brought out on the Xbox One. But seeing as MS has gone astray from the getting the amazing exclusives that were had on the original Xbox to just having a
Gears/Halo/Forza/Fable game every year. MS lost that spark when they decided to make the 360/One a media device instead of a gaming console.

 

The big productions, iconic videogames takse time to be done, as an example great games like GTA V, RDR2, Metal Gear Solid, Shadow of Tomb Raider, Cyberpunk and many more, how long do they take? between 3 or 5 years even more. At least I have faith that
Microsoft is working on something big, but we must be patient, good things takes time.

Hello, It may not feel like games are the priority of Xbox at the moment, But JhonSnow777 said the big heavy hitting AAA titles take time to
make.

In my opinion we already have amazing exclusives, I mean we've got Halo 5, Forza Motorsport 7, Forza Horizon 3 and now Forza Horizon 4. (some of my all time favorite games) and as for games not standing up to players expectations at launch, I know a lot
of developers take that into consideration, and work really hard to improve their game, and future games based on what players want, and do in a particular game.

We also have backwards compatibility on Xbox One, Gamepass, cross
play, play anywhere. Which is great because we can go back and play our favourite 360 titles via backwards compatibility, and even some Original Xbox games.
Game pass allows you to choose from a wide variety of games and play as many, as or as few, as much or as little as you want, for one low monthly coast. Cross play means we can play with our friends who have a PC (or if you're on PC you can play with your
friends on Xbox) and play anywhere let's us pick up where we left off on our PC/Xbox One.

All this means that Xbox has a lot to offer, and while we may not have as many exclusives as other platforms, we do have some amazing games on offer, and I'm sure there are more to come, as Xbox announced at E3 the attainment of 5 new studios.

 

I will not comment about the current exclusives, I think that FH4 is so good that is worth buying an xbox just for that, but everyone has his own taste about gaming.

I do not agree though when you say that MS is not considering new games a priority. They have acquired new studios and are trying to add even more. The new studios are currently hiring a lot more people
to work on new titles so we will see a lot of new games in the future for sure. Of course it takes time to deliver quality games, but MS is going the right direction...and while we wait for new exclusives, I think we have plenty to play with.

Personally State of Decay 2 is great, as is Forza Horizon 4, all Xbox exclusives.

Looking forward to eventually playing Crackdown 3 as well.

Hopefully more will arrive in time as well, it takes years to make games these days.

You can't speak for the "community", not a personal attack here just pointing out that this is still ALL subjective.

It’ll probably be a few years before anything mind blowing comes out. Crackdown 3 has dud written all over it. Give the new studios some time.

 

I've never been a fan of the idea of exclusives. Personally I'd love to see more effort put into cross platform.

But as for the ones Xbox has I'm a big fan. Forza Horizon 4 has been amazing so far. However I understand that not everyone is a racing game person.
