When do Reward Credits post?

I did finally see on the VIP vault an opportunity to redeem the gems I had for Rewards Points, and I had enough to redeem it twice, for a total of 10,000 points. I could swear I saw a message that said it would be 96 hours before the rewards show in my
account, but I did not get a confirmation mail. I used the remainder of the gems to buy $5 worth of Fallout Shelters lunchboxes, and I did get a confirmation e-mail for those. I do not think it has been 96 hours yet, but I am pre-emptively asking about it
to see if I was correct or if I misunderstood something. Thank you.

rewards credit when?

Credits are scheduled for deposit based on when you get to 5,000 pending. So if you get to 5,000 between the 1st and 15th, they are deposited by the 30th. If you get to 5,000 between the 15th and 30th, they are deposited by the 15th of the next month.

The credits should show as pending on the MyRewards section of the Rewards site after 96 hours (you won't receive an email). After pending, they'll be deposited into your account by the end of the month.

From the previously available FAQ on Vault Credits:

I claimed Rewards Credits from the vault. When will I receive them?

If you claim Rewards Credits from the MyVIP Vault, they should appear as pending in your account within 96 hours. Once they are pending in your account, the normal deposit process kicks in. Generally if you have over 5,000 Rewards Credits pending in your
account in the first half of any given month, that amount will be converted to your local currency and deposited into your Microsoft account on or around the 30th of that same month. If the Credits show as pending in the second half of the month, that amount
will be deposited into your Microsoft account on or around the 15th of the next month.

Please note you need at least 5,000 Rewards Credits pending to automatically trigger a deposit, though you can request a deposit for the next scheduled date as long as you have 1,000 Credits pending. Also, if you have ongoing issues with us depositing
into your account, such as your account not matching up with your billing location, you might want to consider choosing a different prize from the vault, as we won’t be able to deliver your Rewards Credits until the deposit issue is resolved.

You can review your pending Credits on the MyStatement on the MyRewards page.

Credits are deposited by the following 15th or 30th of the month after you have at least 5,000 pending. So it depends on when the credits became pending as to when they are scheduled for a deposit.

For help with the Rewards program, you'll want to post in the Rewards program forum. There were no offers to receive credits for preordering Recore digitally. If you preordered it as a physical disc from microsoftstore.com and did not receive the credits,
Rewards support will have to look into it.

Gears credits would depend on when you preordered it and if it was preordered digitally or physically.

For help with the Rewards program, it's best to post in the Rewards program forum, but the only way to receive the credits is by purchasing from microsoftstore.com There is no way to get the credits for a retail store purchase. Phone and chat support do
not handle the Rewards program so they do not have correct information regarding the offers. Support can only be found via Twitter or the Rewards forums.
