When did I miss it?

I've been heavily medicated, had 100 tumors removed and very ill the last 2 years. No sympathy please but when in the blue hell did I miss MS games going to full price. I thought they promised they would be $10?

[/quote]True. Also "age" or "getting old" (more knowledge as I like to say) makes you take a new look at life and everything in general. Youth is something special, but age and wisdom is a whole other animal.

 

Did I miss something?

I still have no sound on my game clips recorded with DVR.

Its been nearly a whole year. To be honest I gave up with recording gameplay a long time ago!

Have I missed a fix somewhere? Or is this still an issue for everyone else too?

Maybe promised is the wrong word. When the 360 started Microsoft Published games were $49.99 instead of $59.99. They said that they would be that way. Unless I was seeing things. I did have a guitar lesson from Hendrix during that time. Thanks.

 

The only thing I remember in terms of pricing is that Xbox LIVE Arcade games would not exceed 1200 Microsoft points - $15.. but that's changed for some Arcade games.. Also if anyone wants to save money, using a rental game service like Gamefly would save
lots of $$ - so regardless of whether prices go up, the rental service price usually remains the same..

 

Welcome back! glad you are doing better. It may have been that price point 2 years ago, but pricing is subject to change.

 

I think a lot of it goes into inflation and development costs too. As time goes on the bar is raised and devs are kinda forced to meet expectations. Because of this, development can take longer (not to mention a lot of games get scrapped and restarted) so
costs go up. That is just an educated guess of course
