When Cortana is on, I don't earn achievements.

Odd but I just got an XBOX One and got the 8/5 update immediately. No achievements were being earned by me until I turned off Cortana. Then it started accumulating the achievements and the stats started updating in the achievements app also.

Has anyone had issues with slowdown in general when having a snapped app also or is that just me?

Stopped earning achievements when Cortana is on

Playing Rocket League and it gives maybe the first couple of achievements but after a while, I don't earn any. I was doing things like Winning the Championship, completing the season, etc. and not getting any recognition for it. Once I turned Cortana off,
I start getting achievements and recognition for them again.

my achievements are not workin g AT ALL. Anyone know why?

when I earn an achievement, the system doesn't realise I earn it, so I don't get the achievement, some cannot be earned again.

I haven't had that happen. Hey Cortana is internet based, so I suppose if someone had "less than stellar" internet it could cause problems with other internet based apps/etc..

It took a reset settings to get it back to normal. It was weird and it happened right after I did the update. It's working fine now.

No, I definitely did. Even just something like "30 wins" would advance the progress when you win an event. Once I turned off Cortana, it started progressing. Plus, I didn't win the achievement for winning the championship even though I did. Once I turned
it off, I won about 5 achievements from repeating what I had done previously.

I think it is not a problem with cortana, but with achievements in general are having problems. I have some done unlocking achievements and some halo achievements won't unlock as well.

Is it possible you just didn't meet the achievement requirements? I avidly use cortana so this issue seems pretty interesting. How often would you say you actually "use" cortana?

I would agree but why after disabling her do I start earning achievements? I hope they patch what they broke with this update.
