When can I use youtube again without gold

I am lost and cant seem to find out via google.

I was told that there were upcoming changes so that I am not required to have xbox gold for netflix and youtube etc. When is this scheduled to happen? Got the message over a month ago and still waiting..

Why xbox why? Netflix, etc.

It's a whole package deal, can I use youtube without gold? NO, so that means you have to pay for it

I am having problems viewing the overview and uploaded sections on any Youtube channel via the Xbox 360 Youtube app. This only happens when I am using my Xbox Live Gold membership profile. I use any other profile that doesn't have a gold membership, and
I can watch what every channel I want without any problems. Is there a problem with my Xbox Live Gold membership profile or is it the app?

 

I thought it was already available? The 360 had a fairly substantial update a week or two back, I just presumed it happened with that update.

 

Well for my Xbox One I still get the message saying I need to sign up for gold.

Is there something I need to do on my end? I thought this would be seamless.

 

And the June update for the X1.

 

Oh right. Not sure myself then sorry. Someone else is bound to know on here, its not to busy this time of day but I'm sure someone will answer you in a while.

I havent checked in a week or so, when I did it said no updates available. Can anyone who has an Xbox one (without gold) confirm if they can access youtube, etc.

 

I have just had a look around and this should be available right now.

 

The irony - the one time you need the silver accounts to actually show up to help, they don't...

 

The June update should have removed the paywall for youtube, Netflix, etc. Try checking for the update again since you haven't checked the last week or so.
