When are new countries going to be added to the XBL Rewards program ???

There is no official word on if/when the program will expand to certain countries.

It's not recommended to change your account to join the program because it can cause issues with your credits actually being deposited.

Same rant as always: "Unfortunately, you can't join Xbox Live Rewards right now. It's strictly because the program is not available in your country. Check back often as new countries are being added to the program. "

According to two big websites that published the news about the 38 new countries added to the Rewards program, looks like some of the countries recently added does not support Rewards on Xbox. So this is probably why you cannot access it on the console.

"It appears that, at least in some countries, support for the rewards program is not available for Xbox."

There's really no official word on if/when certain countries will be added, but there is always a chance. There is a section on the rewards site to add feedback. You could leave a note there about wanting the program in your country.

Since Romania is not an Xbox Live supported country, it will be a while before it's added to the Rewards program.
