At some point planning on getting the new controller with the improved bumpers. Will be getting Fallout 4, Starwars Battlefront on release day and maybe Halo 5 if it isn't broken.

I will be getting Destiny: The Taken King followed by Fallout 4. Destiny 2 will be a ignore for me if Bungie / Activision follows the same exact content release of Destiny 1 which is as follows...

(1) Destiny core game = $66.00 for bare bones content.

(2) The Dark Below = $20.00 without season pass or $35.00 with season pass for overpriced low content DLC content that doesn't warrant its price.

(3) House Of Wolves = $20.00 without season pass or $35.00 with season pass for overpriced low content DLC that doesn't warrant its price.

(4) The Taken King = $40.00 for DLC content that is " supposedly " twice as big as the combined might of The Dark Below and House Of Wolves. This content should be free as an apology from Bungie / Activision for the utter lack of content in the
core game of Destiny and the severely overpriced DLCs.

No spending for me this month. Going on holiday in two weeks.

Major spending spree next month though!!!!! lol

@Lei - So did you decided you're getting 'The Taken King'? What's been the deciding factor in that for you? I guess I'm undecided, but leaning towards a no at release time and might wait for a sale later on.

I know a few have said Gears and I'm sort of keen, but I just don't know if I can do it. I've said to myself from now on that new games come first over remasters.

I have spent $100 on Destiny and gotten over 1,100 hours of enjoyment from it so it was money well spent.

The deciding factor of me getting The Taken King is simply that I am so invested in Rinoa Heartilly at this point that it only makes sense for me to do so.

However as much fun as I am having now with Destiny 1, Bungie / Activision is going to have to get their act together and stop with this bare bones content BS that has plagued Destiny 1 for me to even consider continuing on into Destiny 2.

I'm getting the Gears remake next month. I might get MKX before that. It's on sale at the moment for €33.00 online.

 

@ Digital,

Still by EA mate and released tomorrow. If you have EA Access you can get a 10 hour trial.

I've always enjoyed the EA Golf titles, nice game to chill out to and great online when played with a few friends.

 

@Lofty - I never got EA access because all of a sudden there is just no EA games I play, except Dragon Age: Inquisition. Not a sports gamer, don't like nfs and won't be into battlefield unless it's bad company 3. Just weird how it happened that way, but
sounds like there's no Tiger Woods golf anymore then.

@Lei - I always giggle when you refer to your characters, haha. =p Though that is much why I played the last two expansions, just so invested I couldn't say no when it was already paid for, but throwing an extra $40 is another story, they don't deserve the
millions of downloads on day one, imo.

@Brand - Definitely recommend MKX, I know you hated the app, but it's a million times better, haha. I always feel like my opinion is a little invalid though as I don't buy many fighting games, last one I bought was Street Fighter IV, I think.

I would also like to add the fact that I can now firmly say that Destiny is the game that stopped my Xbox One from becoming a really expensive paper weight.

Destiny is the reason that I even bother to turn on my Xbox One as I don't play Killer Instinct season 2 anymore.

Fallout 4 is coming soon and my Xbox One is going to get used a lot now LOL

I know that a lot of you out there despise Destiny and think that it is complete garbage, but for me, I have gotten WAY WAY WAY more entertainment from my current $100.00 Destiny investment (soon to be $140.00) than the money that I've wasted paying $12
per ticket for movies in the movie theatre that made my head scream " I want my money back! " LOL

After the issues Mr Woods had I think EA decided enough was enough!

Mind you I'm sure if there's a new Number 1 in a year or two EA will have a new face on their next golf game. Saying that they have said it won't be a yearly franchise no-more! They will just update the current game with new courses etc, some free DLC and
some paid for.
