What's your Favorite Halo Memory?

When I was 10 years old and started playing Halo 1 for the first time back in 2002 I was in love with the game to the point that I kept playing it every single day before and after school would meet up with friends to play it and play story together or face
each other on those wonderful maps in a 4 person split screen,then Halo 2 for me, amazing story and the online of that game is the reason I got Xbox Live back in the day greatest game of all time Halo 2,I use to go over to my friends house back in high school
just to play Halo 2 online with him I loved it so much and I got Xbox Live for myself and played the online for so many hours it use to be my days for along time,then Halo 3 was a good story and outstanding online I have so many memories on Halo 1,2,3 and
Halo 4 was ok but the first 3 games will always be my favorite it would take me months to write my Halo memories here I'm just curious to hear yours.

What's your favorite deck?

Playing with Gideon's deck so far. I prefer to pick one and play until I unlock everything. I will say having just unlocked Jace's deck I am disappointed in the direction they took. Took a so-so counter deck and turned it into yet another creature deck.
I guess this is the way they prefer the game--creature battles. (Feels more like a pre-release tourney or draft which are creature fests). Would be nice if they stuck to some of the choices from the first iteration by making a decent counter deck. Heck
as inconsistent as Jace's original deck was, I could still win a fair number of games with it--sad to see the removal of a counter themed deck.

Chandra's burn deck is my favorite. So far my record with it is around 30-5 I'm guessing. Put it this way. I use that deck more than any other deck and as of 10 minutes ago I'm ranked 5th in 1v1 on the leaderboards. UG
ramp is pretty good too. So is Gideon's white weenie deck. The weakest deck I've seen so far is Garruk's Stompy deck. I mean, why play that when you can just play UG ramp. It's got better ramp and better creatures.

 

Deff custom games in halo2/3 Its a shame some of my friends from then are gone. Thoese were the best times ive ever had playing any game.

 

Has to be the finding of an Easter Egg in Halo 4 for me but had loads of great moments plating Halo. Roll on The MCC for some more fun

 

Hands down the lan party I went to when the Halo 2 map disk came out. A good 16 of us showed all in separate rooms on four tvs screaming our heads off as we attacked each other.

 

Wow... I don't think I can even narrow it down to a top 5 or 10. Halo: CE sold me my Xbox. LAN parties, hours and hours and hours of SP and co op fun, over 8500 logged MP games in Halo 2 alone... then Halo 3 and 4... even ODST.

The series, in and of itself, is my favorite memory of gaming. When I see some of the remastered Halo 2 footage and hear the harmonic chorus of voices, it literally makes chills go up my arms and neck in anticipation of having all that fun and goodness in
a single game and to play it all again. I can't wait for TMCC.

 

When I first played Halo 3 online for the first time ever, I was so terrible

 

The Flood.

I'd kept away from spoilers so the Flood were completely unexpected for me.

"Halo 2" is the only game I've ever picked up at midnight.

Still remember stopping in game just to think to mysyelf... "Wow... that view is stunning".

 

Playing the Halo demo (Silent Cartographer was the featured level) with a buddy of mine and coming across an Elite with the sword for the first time! We both died then come back with a rocket launcher! Feel in love with Halo right then!

 

Halo Combat Evolved. The level called "343 Guilty Spark ". I played the game when it came out so didn't know what to expect. The flood was a complete turn-around for the game. It didn't help that I was playing near midnight with the room completely
dark. Nearly poo-poo'd my pants.
