What's your biggest surprise/disappointment of Gamescom so far?

There has been a lack of games for the last 3 months, I mean how many are coming out in August, the only one I can think of is Diablo and thats a remake.

Saying that after September we will be spoilt for choice so its all horses for courses.

 

Forza Horizon 2,Project Spark,Sunset Overdrive,Halo Master Chief collection,Killer Instinct season 2,Ori & the blind forest,..... That's my Fall 2014 game list....

3rd party games will have to wait.

At least,i know why i bought a Xbox one.

Aha, that would drop the list down to 7, but why would I do that? The games are still being released on Xbox One unless I've been greatly misinformed. I'm going to buy them on Xbox One. So with that in mind, they may as well be Xbox One exclusives. It's
a catalogue of games available on the system correct?

Not everyone is limited to a single platform to play on.

5 exclusives and one timed, didn't hear anything about gears.

Only points of interest being tombraider which is now timed halo 5/mcc and maybe quantum break, again my opinion.

Re-read your post. You are the defensive one. You said there were hardly any games announced, which I agreed with Tzar was absolute nonsense- in my opinion. I then posted a list of the wonderful games I'm excited for, and your response was for me to hack
away all the games available for PS4 as well. No, not everyone games on one platform, but I do so it makes no sense why that fact would render my points invalid. You're the one who seemingly can't handle a different opinion, so don't call me defensive.

 

You may want to go back and read it yourself I merely pointed that if you remove the multiplats you would see where I get my point of view.

At no point did I say there were hardly any games, the op asked for an opinion and from my point of view the x1 isn't offering a lot.

Instead you took it offensively and clammed up.

 

Again, you claim I'm doing what you are doing. I'm not remotely offended by you, more fascinated by your determination to have a conflict of ideas. If you think there is not a lot on offer from Xbox, power to you. I said that I think that's nonsense, and
showed the games I would use to argue that point, and you pretty much said Multi-plats don't count, to which I replied for me they do because I get them for Xbox.

There is no attempt to be confrontational, offensive, defensive, or 'Clammy' in any section of the conversation, so I don't know why you persist in claiming to the contrary. If you were offended by me saying I think some people are never satisfied, then
I apologize, but I maintain that's an integral part of my opinion taking a contrary position to yours. If you are disappointed by the offerings on xbox that is your right. I cannot relate.

Well you first post in this page does sound pretty defensive, if it's not I'm sorry I took it the wrong way.

As for me being defensive, I have nothing to be defensive about either way it goes is good for me.

I'm not looking for conflict, the fact is the op is asking an opinion to which I replied with mine, you then added a list of games to which I basically said remove the multiplats and you will see where I get my point of view.

It's all opinion so there is no right or wrong since we are all going to look at it differently.

 

Fair enough, I will leave it there then. I merely wanted to know how anyone could seemingly overlook so many titles, and now I do.

Surprise - Tomb Raider being times exclusive

Best - Quantum Break gameplay

Disappointment - Won't be able to preload Destiny (not a huge deal tho).
