What's your biggest surprise/disappointment of Gamescom so far?

I add a disappointment.

Ubisoft teased The Division at Gamescom 2014.Infos and new gameplay.....

But i was behind closed doors,why tease something,that we won't hear about and might be showed in several weeks or months

 

Have to agree @tzar I was waiting all week to see that footage that was touted. Like feeding Strawberries to Pigs letting only the gaming media see it.

These are offline only games as examples and you will be able to play them online.

I am not going to lie. I liked the Xbox games shown better and was a bit dissapointed in general with what both consoles showed as far as games. But if this works as advertised this is bigger then a few games. Will it work who knows I can only go by what
I read but I sure hope so. And just so you know they did say that it would be limited to 60 minute blocks and how many over those blocks you get is still unknown.

 

Whenever you feel the line-up of games shown is disappointing, just remember what 2015 has in store for us. Q1 Evolve, Halo 5 Beta, Dying Light. Q2-Q3 Battlefield Hardline, Star Wars Battlefront, The Division. Q4 Rainbow Six Siege, Rise of the Tomb Raider
(not for me) and .....Gears of War? All of those on TOP of the usual yearly fair. 2015 is going to OWN.

 

@bstn Share Play is a worse version of the Family sharing option MS tried to implement last summer.

Biggest surprise other than TR would have to be Bloodborne. Surprised that it looked so hack and slash.

Biggest disappointment would be MGS Phantom Pain. Has to be the dumbest trailer I have seen for a game that will probably be great.

 

@24 Care to share why that is? I don't remember Family Share saying that it would let you play offline games online or pause a game and pass it. I could be mistaken though enlighten me.

Halo looked really good as did cod. Space engineers looks really interesting to.

Also the cod Xbox looks good.

 

I agree there, that COD: AW Xbox One looks awesome. I would have really liked to seen what the Kinect 2.0 would have looked like if it came with it.

 

Biggest Disappointment: Sunset Overdrive - just an arcade shooter that requires no skill or tactics, I am very disappointed even though I won the 8 man coop with the highest score and got an energy drink and a hat.

Biggest Surprise: Fable Legends - this game just became my most anticipated

Dragon Age, Quantum Break, The Witcher 3 and Far Cry had also very good Demos. Forza Horizon looked Amazing, much better than Forza 5. Fifa Plays great too!

 

@ cheesyhunter phil spencer has confirmed its a timed exclusive but wouldn't comment on how long it would remain so.

Biggest surprise: tombraider exclusive.

Biggest disappointment : lack of games.

 

No surprises for me but it was an alright show. The new bundles look pretty cool but I wont be going out to buy one quite happy with the one I have already

With all soon to be release and games coming in 2015,i got enough to play until mid 2016.....

 

Some people are never satisfied Tzar. I struggle to put together a priority list of 12 games I can't wait to play. There are just so many coming! I think from now until Dec 2015 there are 17 games, I want to buy... not including the yet
to be announced titles... Holy crap.
