What's Your Background?

Ha too bad the pictures don't even fit the ratio to the screen correctly, and not only that you cannot make the tiles partially see through so you can see little to nothing of the picture.

This really was a waste of development time and money. I'm laughing so hard at this feature right now.

Strikur, that sounds like an interesting color combination; I might have to try that one to see it for myself.

Now that I had the update when I got home from work this morning I went with the achievement art for one of the Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor Achievements. Have not had time to mess with the other stuff in the update yet though.

 

When did the update roll out???

 

I think I will use one of the Ryse ones when I'm allowed and I came in here about to ask a question, but it's already been answered. Now to wait for when it's available for the masses.

 

I expect some games will offer theme packs; maybe free, or pre-order bonus, or possibly paid DLC (boo hiss). In general, that could be pretty cool. I know Child of Light offers a folder of wallpaper artwork, earned via ingame Ubisoft Points... that kind
of thing, I'd be down for.

Being able to set the background to a rotating set of images on your fave game - yes, please.

 

I chose the destiny achievement (raider) for my background. It's my proudest achievement to date on next gen so that's got its spot until I beat raid on hard.

 

I plan to just use a colored abstract or carbon fiber background since the tiles will block out a picture. I do have the option to check it out now since I have recently received an invite to the Preview program, but I'm still weighing the pros and the cons
of joining up. :/

Ever since I started this thread, I honestly haven't been able to decide. I've been going back and forth trying different things. My current set up is the greyish blue option for both the tiles and the background. It gives it a sort of sleek modernistic
appearance to it, I think, and isn't so bad on the eyes like with the other bright colors or stark contrast of the original black background...

 

I'm currently rocking the "Green Wristband" from FH2 but I can see that a nice bright SSOD achievement will take its place shortly.

 

I'm using an achievement from D4.

Would you guys be so kind as to describe the images that are attached to these achievements please. It'll help give the rest of us who haven't earned the achievements yet or that don't have the game a better idea of why you chose it.
