    so I'm trying to play fortnite and I keep getting a message saying that my account doesn't give permission for Xbox live and then it directs me to buy gold but I have a years worth of gold

    Now what's wrong?

    Every time I try to look at Downloadable Collections, there is a flash and the screen returns to the main menu. What's up with that? I can't download anything if it won't open the icons of the collections. The last time I was able to click on an icon,
    it took my goad bars and didn't give me the collection. What am I supposed to do next?

    You can use your Microsoft account balance to purchase subscriptions, but since it starts a recurring subscription, the system wants to make sure you have enough to cover the next payment (even if you plan on turning off auto-renewal).

    You can't use your Microsoft account as a payment method for a subscription. You need a payment method that supports ongoing payments like a credit card or PayPal.

    Hey there. It can be different reasons (including those stated above) that is causing your problem. What type of connection are you using? Does your display pixelate when displaying anything else besides your console? Have you tried using a different display
    to test if the issue lies with your xbox. Please let us know how it goes. :)
