What's wrong with my Xbox one?!?!?!?

There are a number of things that aren't functioning at all on my Xbox one. The primary relation between the problems is that something isn't popping up on the screen. The first unique problem is that when I try to type something or search for something,
the keyboard does not appear. The second is that none of the alerts or invites show up on the bottom of the screen. Third, when I use Cortana, the box doesn't show up in the top right corner. Fourth, the record/screenshot menu doesn't show up when I double-tap
the home button. Fifth, the home button doesn't always take me home. Sixth, when I press and hold the home button, it opens a game instead of the shut off option menu. Seventh, when I go to the Xbox menu on the left side, pressing the shut down or restart
menu doesn't open up their respective options menus. If anyone has any idea of what to do, it would be helpful.

what's wrong with my Xbox One?

hello, all my games ( discs and digital ones) and apps don't start or if they do start, the game/app freezes, the screen goes black and I go back to the home screen. I've already tried to reset them ( I even reseted the xbox a couple of times), but the problem
doesn't seem to go away, what do I do?

IDK what's wrong with my Xbox

My Xbox says I don't have gold but i do and i have paid for it and my bank account got removed i tryed to put my bank account back on but it says to try again everytime i got a code for gold but i didn't work.and i can't play with my friends. idk what's
happening plz help me

Hey there NightShadeZee,

It sounds like there is a bunch of different things going on, I'm assuming you've already tried to power cycle the console of course, but have you tried a

factory reset yet? You have the option to keep your games and apps, which we'd recommend. Try that and let us know how it goes. Keep in mind though, after the reset you'll need to re setup any home associations and sign into your account again.

You are not sent a message as to what the issue was with the console. Usually, when Xbox gets your console in for repair they will send out a refurbished one to you to make sure you get one back quickly.

Hello Hemma,

Glad it is working for you and they were able to repair it. Unfortunately, from what I know of the repairs they don't say what they fixed. You can usually tell by what the issue was with the console. For example if getting E error codes they usually do offline
update. If wasn't powering on they will check the power supply in the console.

I've confirmed that it is my old Xbox that they repaired, checked the serial and it was the same.

So what MS do is that they repair it (hopefully) and dosn't say what is done?

Seems odd when a customer as I would like to know what the problem was in case I sell my Xbox one day.

Hello Hemmafrun,

When a repair is done they will first try and repair the console you send in. If they are able to then they will send that one back to you. If they are unable to repair it then they will send out a refurbished one. Unfortunately, they do not say what was
wrong with it.
