    What's with the price of xbox series s in India?


    Okay so the series x costs 680$ in India. The price of the series X in the US is 500$. So that's a 180$ hike. Which is fine to be honest.

    But then the series s literally costs 470$ in India. Its price in US is 300$. How come its still a 180$ hike? Shouldn't it be lower?

It seems like yes, it should be lower, but unfortunately the final price is established by local retailers or even tax laws of the country or region!

    retailers have import taxes to pay on top of any other taxes applicable by region and country. plus you have to account for the actual currency exchange rate fluctuations.

    Base Edition : 3999

    Deluxe Edition : 5499 (roughly)

    Premium Edition : 6999 (roughly)

    You can just buy the digital edition since physical copies may not be sold in India. It will work on both Series S and Series X.
