What's with all the Gen 1's?

Has Respawn been giving away free copies or are they just computer generated to pad out lobbies? Been lobbies full of 1's and half of them are going AFK.

I only play TBoGT - so I can't speak for the other Multiplayer games.



Suddenly, there has been a MASSIVE influx of modders. Literally, nearly every room I enter there's a modder.



It's getting annoying, something needs to be done.

 

i blame the school holidays and kiddies getting their mitts on a copy.

 

Could be second accounts, or just people buying the game, I don't mind it, easy kills anyways.

Of course there are some good Gen 1 pilots too.

 

i don't think there's too much of an increase in GEN1, but i think the added tag just makes them more noticeable. And Berserk, you're right there are some good ones out there, as we regen we stop using the same tactics that got us where we are so the newer
guys using all they have at their limited disposal surprises us. For example, i don't throw titan punches that much anymore and when i do its with big punch, so i forget that titans can throw faster punches without it and i get terminated, or i forget the
game will literally let the opposing titan reach way beyond what it should when they have big punch.

 

I just started playing this game again after only playing it once on release day. I thought I would give it a go after the new maps came out.

 

Many of us Gen 1 pilots cant afford to play the game for hours and hours daily to get several generations deep. Many of us have families, jobs, sometimes more than one job and so we play games on a more casual pace. Myself I just recently picked up the game,
I am having a blast even though i just hit level 47. Regardless, I don't take anyone's level for granted, I have taken out a 10th Gen level 50 pilot as well as been karate kicked by a first time player ever on the field. Its all about the fun

 

I'm not pointing the finger and criticising , just making an observation that there seems to be a large influx of new players.

 

Seems like they stand out more now that they have a gen level next to there names. A few of the parties I've run into have been players that have new accounts that they only use when partying up. Friend sent me a 100% wins after 90 matches played.

 

Many players likely got reset (for cheating) or reset themselves (for reaching gen. 10).

 

Re-set themselves ? Care to elaborate GG ?

 

How does one reset himself?

 

Its cuz it is summer and all the kiddies are out asking their parents to go out and buy it for them.

 

Could be anything really. I bought my copy on launch day and have not played it yet. I was going to give it a shot this weekend.
