What's up with the free car Dlc's now charging you to play

i had installed the fast and the furious and the Porsche DLC's when they where announced. Now when I try them it says I need to purchase the packs even though they are installed Since the day they were offered.

If this is the way we are treated for being loyal customers, the. Forget about getting Forza 6. I am tired of this.

Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate Edtion

Hello wanna now if you will get the car dlc as a free gift for buying ultimate edtion or u will get a discount for the later car dlc's.

 

I was charged for a DLC Season Pass that said it was FREE!

I got the original LA Noire for Christmas. I went to play it and noticed that there's some DLC's available, but they all cost money. All except for the Rockstar Season Pass, which says it's free and includes ALL DLC's. So I went to download it, but an error
message came up with error code 80070057. Frustrated, I looked around the internet. If you press the down button then the a button a couple times, the DLC will end up downloading. It worked! I've got all the DLC's.

Then I open up my email to see... what's this?! "Purchase confirmation from Microsoft"!! They charged me full price for the season pass even though it says IN-GAME that it is absolutely 100% FREE.

What even???

 

Did you buy them in the first place? They were never FREE.

 

Yes, they were free. The fast and the furious was free for all for the 1st 2 weeks. Porsche was free for the day it was released. I downloaded them in the first day of each.......

 

None of those were free, I paid for both the day they came out.

 

The F&F expansion was free for the first couple weeks to promote the Furious 7 film, now that time has ended it is a paid dlc as for the Porsche expansion, for me the day it released it was $10 that I bought with bing credit. This is what I remember
of course, I have not bought anything forza related since then. I may get the IGN car pack that was released yesterday with my bing credit again. If there is or was a way to get the Porsche dlc for free its too late for me as I never knew about that, did not
see that info in the announcement or product details. As for the op, I never had that problem, sorry for you're loss its unfortunate and i wish I knew how to troubleshoot that issue. Best things to do is either search the forums for a solution to that, or
contact Microsoft support and tell them about this.

 

The Fast and Furious stand alone expansion was free the first two weeks it was released. The Fast and Furious car pack and the Porsche car pack for Forza Horizon 2 have always been paid DLC and never free. Sounds like you found a glitch in the system that
allowed you to download it for free on day of release. Just because you downloaded it it does not mean you purchased it.
