Whats up with my DL speed?

Im up in my room which is maybe 40 ft from my modem. Im on my laptop running speed tests and I am routinely getting 35 MBPS over wifi. My xbox one sitting right beside it can't pull in over 3 MBPS. I seriously don't get it. I'm lagging uncontrollably
all the time when nothing else is even running on the internet. What can I do? We never had this problem until about a month ago.

Personally, when I am having trouble DL a game/demo. What usually works for me is checking the HDD and seeing if there is any incomplete dl demos other game files, (Show up with yellow >!< icon) and if so I delete them, and then try dl the game/demo again.

Also I found it's best to let a DL finish b4 opening up any apps etc.

 

EA are shockingly bad

My DL speed is 50 Mbps with 25 Mbps up. This content still took a little while to DL but I switched to TV and watched a show so I've no idea how long it actually took.

Have you tried a powercycle after you started having these issues ? You can do this by holding down the powerbutton for 10 seconds untill your console shuts off. This will perform a hard restart so the cache gets cleared and network resets.

Also could you tell me which NAT type you have ?

To find out press the home button, press the menu button afterwards and select settings, from the settings menu select network and your NAT type should show up in the middle

 

i explained the same thing and some one gave me an excuse, i think they are limiting our bandwith at MS network. instead off buying more bandwith they are regulating what a player can use on MS network.

 

click on xtart button and type in command, when you get the black screen tpe in tracert -d www.msn.net and see how many hops you got to MSN.

They're not restricting the Xbox One from MS's side as my download on the Xbox One is 75MBPSwhile I still have a computer etc connected

It might be restrictions from your ISP or some settings that need to be enabled like UPnP etc
