What's up with my console?

Anyone having similar issues? What did you do to fix it?

TWO things are happening...

1. I go in to play after a game is updated and I will be in the middle of a match and the game sort of crashes and has a recurring noise that it plays over and over like it's almost stuck???!

2. I will be trying to update a game, and I get the "installation stop" message and it won't finish the update.

This has been happening for a while now. The last time I talked to Microsoft about this issue, they said it must be my internet...but it isn't that. Anyone have any ideas? Is this a broken console??? OR can I do something to fix this issue? Thanks for

Change Gamer Picture: This option presents preset gamer pictures that are stored on the console that everyone can see.

Change Personal Picture: This option lets you set a personal picture that only people on your Friends List can see.

You might want to make sure you checked the option you want.

I went to avatar editor and went to gamer picture so i made my gamer picture my avatar but now my friends are saying that my gamer picture is a white avatar with no face with a white background thats not my avatar or the background i choose why is this happening

have you tried to power cycle your console ?

If not, give it a try. More information about how to perform a power cycle can be found here: Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console

You can also try to delete and redownload the game you having issues with.

Hello Basian sorry having so many issues you can then try a soft factory reset be sure you know credentials for account before
doing so you will need to redownload profile.

Thank you for contacting Forum support!

This usually has to do with the network most of the time so it's best to troubleshoot the network (Also try to reset the router and modem for 2-5 mins)

On the network settings of the Xbox one, select " go offline" then turn off the console and reset the router and modem.

If that does not resolve the issue try this!

I'm sorry to hear the troubleshooting steps haven't resolved it.

Now would you be able to clarify if you did try Factory Resetting and Keeping your games and apps as suggested above by Brad?

If so, in this case I would suggest for you to contact
Live Support for further resolution. It's going to ask if you want help from the virtual agent select
no thanks, pick the category(Games) and just pick a contact method
(request a call from support or Chat is faster).
