    What's this about "insufficient privileges to access Xbox live functionality?"


    I bought BATTLEFIELD 1943 years ago, and until today I've never had any issues playing it, whether I've renewed Xbox gold or not.

    Today, I tried to play it for the first time in a minute, but this stupid Xbox money grabbing bullcrap is stopping me playing a game IVE ALREADY BOUGHT!!!

    Why should I pay twice to play a game IVE already bought?! And what will Xbox live do to resolve this?

    Or, how do I resolve this?

    It says a signed in gamer profile does not have the requires privileges to access the xbox live feature what does this mean?

    Hi Shadow000, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    You will be needing to manage your account settings in this case by simply signing in to https://account.xbox.com/settings.

    If the system detects that your account is a child account you will be redirected to a support site and if not you will be able to change it successfully.

    If you were redirected to a support page, please sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/family and check if there is an organizer account linked to your account then use the organizer account so sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings then "allow" the setting on this screenshot:

    Sorry to hear about the troubles with Xbox Live. To start out, if you're using a child account, the parent account tied to your Gamertag will need to set the privileges on your account. Can you share what the exact error message you're receiving says so that
    we can get you on the right path to allowing your account to access what it needs to?

    When i try and access various online features and privilege’s on my xbox live account a message comes up on screen saying “Locked privilege. This feature is blocked per your XBOX LIVE parent control settings” but on the adult account there has been no restrictions
