what's the worst thing you've done in the name of gaming?

I've played Just Dance with my daughter. Apparently, I'm not half bad at it.

 

I purchased Star Wars Kinect......... Oh and a Virtual Boy back in the day. Not sure what's worse

 

i bought xb1 .........Should have bought ps4 and saved 100 bucks

 

So why are you here???? Somehow I doubt YOU bought the console......

 

Went over drawn on my bank account by £20 by pre ordering GTA V. I just didn't care... LOL.

You know what my regret about Fable 3 is? Buying it brand new, then loaning it to a friend for months, then another friend, then it sat in my house and now it's still sitting unplayed.

 

worst thing i did is still the funniest to me. I dropped a Display model Nintendo "Game and Watch" into a fish tank in K-mart, Obviously it broke but it was worth it since the game was Octopus!

[/quote]Wasting the money is pretty regrettable, however, you're not missing much.

 

WHen the PS2 came out I overdrew my bank account to get it and a couple games when my name was pulled in the raffle for the first batch employees of my Target that were allowed to buy it.

Now this one is not in the name of gaming, but my biggest regret involving gaming. When I was in my early twenties I traded in more than 30 Xbox and PS2 games to pay for getting drunk. Such a waste.

 

The worst thing ive done in a game is kill ALL the buffalo in Red Dead Redemption because an achievement told me to. Besides feeling bad to this day, it also made me realize achievements were detrimental to my playing of games and i turned off notifications
soon after.

I have to say there are 2 things. First I bought Shadowrun and it's still sitting on the shelf in the shrink wrap. 2nd one is I downloaded and played Yaris when it was available, and I actually tried to have fun at it.

 

Broke two controllers, and a few games. Nothing extreme, really.
