Whats the situation with the headset adapter for xbox one?

Everywhere i look is sold out of them, even the microsoft store. On most sites that sold them the reviews are really bad so i microsoft going to come out with a new version? or are they just out of stock

Which headset are you using?

I'm just sort of looking to see how everyone is approaching the headset situation for Xbox One.

Which headset are you currently using?

Will you upgrade?

Will you get the adapter for communication?

Any suggestions?

Right now I'm using the Turtle Beach X11 stereo headphones (which people doubted would work with an optical cable and rca adapter but it does for game audio). I'm thinking about upgrading to a surround sound headset since I play Call of Duty: Ghosts. I'd
wait 2 months for the new TB Xbox One headsets, but that's too far away for me

Should had bought the cheaper PS4. All compatible headset that work with the PS4 works out of the box.

Hi Warlord,

Thanks for coming to the forums. This means that it is not being recognized being plugged into the controller. When you updated your controller, was the headset plugged in at the same time? If not update it again, with the headset plugged in. There is also
a
stereo headset adapter that may help in this situation.

it will depend on what actually is broken, is it just the headset port or something else that causes it not to work.

If it's just the port then I do assume that using the adapter will result in being able to use headphones, assuming the headset is supported.
