However, due to bad programming of the game makers, cheaters found ways to abuse technical bugs in a game to cheat.

For example, Call of Duty is known for several game bugs that cheaters can abuse. And it's the responsibility of Activision to fix these issues.

It's like saying "What's the point of traffic policemen, if the police allows cars to be stolen?"

If you report your car to be stolen to the police, the police will investigate and arrest the car thief.

Or you could tell the car maker, that the thief was able to bypass the car's ignition to get the car started.

So there are two ways to fight against cheating:

Report cheaters to Xbox, so the cheaters can get suspended, and the hacked consoles can be banned from Xbox Live.

Alternatively, you can try to contact the game maker and report the cheats to them, however, the older the game is, the less likely it is that the bugs that make cheating possible get fixed.

well that's a really big claim . Xbox doesn't allow cheating .

Like Arminator said , it's due to bad programming of the studios that cheaters could find some ways to take advantage of those technical bugs and cheat .

The best way is that we always report the cheaters and also report to the game makers that they have technical bugs in their game .

if their intention is good , they will surely make an update to make the game a better place for everyone .

If you believe a player is cheating, you should absolutely report them using the

tools in your console. After that, block and ignore them, and by all means DO NOT RETALIATE.

Most multilayer games have a report feature in the menu options. There will always be cheaters, just report them change servers and move on with your gaming. Let the game devs deal with them.
