What's the minimum size TV I can get to enjoy 1080p on Xbox One?

I want to get a brand new 1080p TV for the Xbox One I plan on buying. However, I'm not sure which size is right for me. There are so many varying opinions on the matter. Some say 32" is fine, some say 40" is fine and some say it needs to be 46" or bigger
for you to see the difference between 720p and 1080p. I have no idea what to get. Some help would be greatly appreciated.

    :)

    HD TV question.

So my dad was going to get me a HD TV. I was wondering what's the difference between HD ready and Full-HD. Googling it quickly said that HD ready is 720p and Full HD is 1080p. Is there anything else to it? And is there a notable difference when playing
on Xbox on a HD ready vs Full HD? I intend on getting a 32 inch TV, if size has any relevance to the question.

What kind of TV should I buy for Xbox 360

Get the biggest freaking tv you can afford. Like 98' movie theatre size.

It all depends on budget. There is no reason to get a 720p if you can afford to get a 1080p tv. If you can afford to get a 1080p tv then why not? If you get bluray players or other HD devices, they could take advantage of the resolution. Some xbox games
are 1080p, so the additional resolution won't go to waste with the 360 either.

I would say 37' 1080p tv is good. Some people will say go bigger and others will say to go smaller if it sports a better picture. Go to you local electronic shops and browse their tvs. Sometimes the blacks look gray and things like that. Picture quality
    is also important.

40" is a perfect size. I play on a 40" UHD 4K Samsung and the picture is amazing. The size and being able to tell the difference between resolutions based on the size of the screen is pretty much a myth in my opinion.

That's all BS. Base the size on how far you are going to be sitting from it.

It depends how close you are. I use a 40" and I pull my chair about 3 to 4 feet max from the screen.

  7. A quick read of this:
    http://carltonbale.com/1080p-does-matter/
should tell you what some will only find out after much trial / error... and a lot of wasted $. The best size TV is going to be the one that best suits your gaming room and viewing preferences. The biggest factor
will be how far you sit from it.

Focusing less on the chart in that link, and more on what is recommended for viewing distances and etc. would be what I'd advise. In fact, I use a basic "recommended view distance for allocated screen size" chart for all my TV and room setups and I have
    no complaints.

My upper hundred 4k UHDTV look good. Better then my 22inch 1080p TV. But I can wait they add 4K BR playback on the one. Even thought spice wies. It not possable to have a 4K@60FPS in gaming. But it see when comes to move. It HDMI need to upgraded to 2.0.
And we will see 4K BR movie in it full glory.

There is no minimum as long as the tv supports 1080p. That said bigger is always better

  11. As others have said, space should come into consideration, but I have to say that this year I moved from my roughly 4 or 5 year old 46 inch to 55 inch and it was a pretty amazing upgrade. I wouldn't go smaller than 55 now, haha.

  12. Well I went fro 55 to 32, the larger screen made me sick. I think it's more up to the individual tbh, the 55 doesn't lag or anything, just too big.

What's the minimum size TV I can get to enjoy 1080p on Xbox One?

A lot would probably depend on your eyesight. I mostly game on a 32" and sit about 5' to 6' away; if I'm playing on the 55",probably 10' away. My friend has a 73" and is sits about 6' to 7' away from the screen, while wearing glasses no less...much to close
    for my tastes. Lol.

    Peace, J.R.

Hello "ManicRaider" What's the minimum size TV I can get to enjoy 1080p on Xbox One? :)

    ..........

I agree with what everyone else is saying regarding on how far away you're sitting from the TV What's the minimum size TV I can get to enjoy 1080p on Xbox One? :)

    ..........

As far as I know, the only time that it isn't possible to tell the differecnce between 720p and 1080p is if you're using a 20" TV.

However, I think that an individual would definitely notice the difference from a 32" 1080p TV and a 32" 720p TV (if they still exist) when sitting at optimal TV to Viewer distance What's the minimum size TV I can get to enjoy 1080p on Xbox One? :)

    I'm with others here.

We have a few different size TVs in the house. Bigger they are, the further I sit from them.

Don't know if it's just me though, when watching a movie/TV I like to sit back, relax, when gaming I tend to sit a little closer.
