What's the difference between same unit repair and same unit repair flight program?????

Now at the point of sending my console in after hours of troubleshooting......is one of these faster or something.

Same unit repair, not really a same unit repair

I specifically requested my White Xbox one to be repaired and sent back to me, I was assured it was noted and that I would get a white xbox one back. Unit shipped today and it is a different serial number and its black.

I will not accept this and I am rejecting the package when it gets to my door and it will be shipped back to send/MS. I Fully expect to receive My/A White X1 back.

The only reason I went through MS for a repair is because it is impossible to go to a store and exchange it for a white one as they are all gone. If I wanted a *** black one, I could have like item exchanged for one that day and not waited a month. What
is so hard about taking in a order, opening the box, putting a new disk drive in it and then shipping it back to the customer?

My replaced xbox has been lighting red with blank screen I made a repair order and shipping label came to me but this time it was (same unit repair) .

My question is:

What is the difference between ( standard exchange) and (same unit repair) and how long will it take Microsoft to repair my xbox

Flight program implies that your console is under the preview program. Its actually the same process. Unless there's an expedited option which have a charge.

Ye as said you have opened the unit so you have cancelled out any warranty you had .

So if you send it to them you will be charged for repairs.

I have seen posts that say when they send there console away . It's not the same one that comes back . I could be wrong though 🤔

This exactly.

They will see that you have opened it yourself & just send it back to you.They will not repair it even if you pay them which is part of the terms for Microsoft repairing a console.
