What's the Best Way to Have Xbox Live Gold on 3-4 Xboxes??

Yes, I have three Xboxes. I'm about to add a fourth. I play, and I have three sons who play. We don't play a LOT, but when we do we want that option to do so with our respective friends.

What's the best way to enable Gold on all so that we can all play with our friends? I have Gold, so I set one of the consoles as the Home Xbox and mine is the alternate. That works for two. But three? Four?

The obvious way is to buy yet another Gold account. Ugh. Then there's the "well, everyone else is doing it" method of setting my third console up as a friend's Home Xbox to allow playing. That just seems wrong - but it might be the only choice.

I wish there were two options for this - the current way and the old way (360). I paid one Family account and had all my kids under it. It worked perfectly, but then they screwed it up on the Xbox One. Thanks, M$!

Would you agree with me that it seems...wrong? It seems as if I'm being "punished" for spending more money with MS by spending...more money. So I buy four consoles and, as a result, have to purchase two Gold accounts. Seems odd.

The best and the only way is to purchase another gold subscription. Redeem it on another account, one of your sons accounts, then make one of the other consoles the home Xbox using that account.

Hello Ximic123, this is pretty simple if you have active in your account a Live Gold subscription with 3 months and buy an Ultimate 1 month, the 3 months of Gold will convert to Ultimate and you will be with 4 months of Ultimate.

I think this is quite bad, 3 months is a bit of an insult to a loyal family pack owner, yeah the new live different people can plat on one gold account on xbox one but what if my family has 4 xbox ones (like i have 4 xbox 360`s ) more let downs from what
was a good offer now gone
