What's the best way to get a full refund because they removed snap?

Well no, because if we're using analogies, a car is your "hardware" and the radio is *also* hardware. You can't remove an item that has been hardwired to function within strict parameters. As I understand it, Snap was a "software" function and its removal
doesn't mean your hardware (or car) will run any slower. If anything, it's been removed to optimize PERFORMANCE - and that's applicable to whatever vehicle we're talking about. Snap, indeed.

Xbox removing Snap is like waking up one day and expecting to see some well thought out inspiring posts on the Xbox forums. But instead we get the same ridiculous nonsense like the kind demonstrated in this thread.

You're not going to get a refund if you bought the console more than 30 days ago, so your best bet is probably selling the console on eBay or Amazon.

I doubt you'll get a refund on the console simply because Snap is no longer a feature. However, you can head over to the feedback site and request that it be returned. If there is already a post there about the Snap feature you can upvote it.

Ok. But say you have a good laptop. One has windows vista and the other has windows 10 or 7. The one with windows 10 or 7 is going to run better than the laptop with windows vista because vista is such a crap software and OS.

Xbox 1 has an EIGHT CORE processor. EIGHT CORES! These days, gadgets are expected to be able to multitask with ease. Microsoft needs to bring back snap as we are seeing more Non Forum Regulars posting their expressions on here. When xbox scorpio releases
later this year, is the software performance only going to let you do ONE thing at a time??

However if your console was under warranty and if the software or operating system wasnt working properly, and if microsoft didnt fix through updates the software defect, you should be allowed to request a refund for it. in australia and nz, we have better
consumer laws than the US. 90 Days warranty only on an elite controller? please. if the device doesnt work as advertised you can demand a refund.

If returning it to the store with a receipt is not an option, you're pretty much left with selling your console on Craigslist or eBay if you're
that peeved about a feature removal.

Any OS features are subject to change after updates.

Same here. I got a 3TB hard drive for my xbox not too long ago and now I'm really regretting it because I don't see myself playing this system much anymore. I've been reading forums and reddit and it seems that once Microsoft makes these kinds of changes,
it can take years for them to go back. This is such a kick in the teeth for everyone who bought the xbox for it's multimedia features. I've got both a PS4 and Xbox so you won't hear empty threats from me about switching consoles, but now I'll buy all multiplatform
games on PS4 instead and just get the few exclusives Microsoft releases every year at used game stores.

so a refund is legal. Raising a small be required as MS wont just give a refund. As for upvoting in feature request Snapping had many requests with users wanting more features not its removal. Basically without admitting it MSis saying the "ONE" idea is

You can only get a refund IF your console is under it's 12 month warranty which comes standard with new genuine Xbox consoles. Your warranty only covers faulty hardware. It does NOT cover customers who are not happy with Microsoft Updates or the UI.

Microsoft updates the UI on Xbox 1 every moth. Just like they update Windows 10 every month. Maybe they'll fix it with the next update or 2.

Why did Microsoft for Xbox 1....

- Bring back voice messaging

- Allow you to change the dash background

- External HDD support

- Backwards compatibility

- Play Xbox 1 WITHOUT Kinect

- No mandatory 24 hour Xbox Live connection checks in order to play Xbox 1

Because they listen. But just because they listen or care, doesn't mean they are obligated to make changes, unless it upsets a fair number of people. If it upsets 100 people, they'll likely consider it. They don't work off a % number of the total who play
on Xbox, cause that is in the millions (10 [million] at least on Xbox 1), as that is barbaric. 100 unhappy customers is bad for any business.

I think they certainly tried to mimic what Xbox 360's U does when you hit the home button while in a game or video app. But I'd like the ability to play a game on the main screen with YouTube in a smaller display on the screen <- This is multitask. And Xbox
1 does have an EIGHT CORE processor. Also their Beam broadcasting section takes up too much dashboard space. A lot of people likely don't wanna use it. Also with Power Options, it should offer a (1) full shutdown option so that it's 100% off (2) standby, put
Xbox in a lower power state to do background updates (3) Restart; without having to go into MORE options. Otherwise people get fed up. You want to turn off your console, sure! QUICK and easy way turn off the power at the wall.

I do like the way they have mimicked the Xbox 360 UI (I've been playing Xbox 360 since late 2010 and still do along with 20+ million active users still on 360, Xbox 360 STILL has more users on it than on Xbox 1, if anyone wants to prove me wrong, link me
some solid evidence). But if several people on here complain on this site, and some of these complaints are coming from NON FORUM REGULARS, they need to be aware and attentive.

What's the best way to get a full refund because they removed snap?
