Whats the best method to get the account’s looking for groups working?

The looking for group feature might be the best bet for what you are currently trying to do on the console.

Here is a good support article on how the looking for groups works. This would probably be the best avenue on xbox to help find people to hang out with, and can be game specific.

After that delete the account from the console, power cycle it and then download the account again
