@Wilko You named one console and two handhelds. A console that doesn't get nearly as many JRPGs as the handhelds do and that's your counter argument? LMAO. I'll forgive your ignorance of not knowing Japanese game development is moving towards the mobile
market, however, for someone who supposedly loves JRPGs you don't know much about them.

PS. Thanks for helping JRPGs die on 360 though. It made my purchase of a PS3 worthwhile in an admittedly, unfortunate manner.

earlier--way before he had a PS3. That's a pretty terrible insult.

 

Nope and tbh I don't really care. I was 100% serious with that last part as I would've wasted $ on PS3 otherwise. I don't like any of its 1st party exclusives besides Heavy Rain so all I have is its 3rd party exclusive JRPGs to look forward too on the console.

I did not get into JRPG (with the exception of Final Fantasy games) until I bought a PS3, after I left Xbox I looked for games only available on PS3, that is when I discovered the joys of the genre, and to be honest with you, the couple of JRPG available
on Xbox did not appeal to me, it was Ni No Kuni that got me into the genre, since then I have bought about 10 of the ones I feel are the best, and am currently looking for more, but it's hard to find the disc's, I may have to buy digital copies of the rest
I want. I also intend to buy a few of the games being released in the comming months on PS3. I don't play hand held consoles due to arthritis.

That still does not negate the fact that Xbox is very limited in niche genres, not just JRPG, it's a known fact, only fanbois deny this fact, but hey if you are happy to play the same games from the same franchises every year kudos to you, I am not and there
are many many people like me, that's why the PS3, Vita, PS4 and 3DS are doing so well...

TBH, as far as jrpgs go, the 360 didn't even have that many good ones imo. Well, except for Tales and Lost Odyssey, the other ones were pretty medicore. I would say Star Ocean was good but when you can that subbed on ps3 it's already way better. Jesus that

[/quote]I don't view you as a fanboi, because I think you know that the Xbox is for shooters racers and some RPG, besides that, you played Ni No Kuni and liked it, and you have a soft spot for Nintendo games, so I give you the benefit of doubt...

 

This thread was meant to be about remakes not JRPG.

 

I'm flattered but I obviously don't think that. If I didnt get a PS3 for 95 bucks(120 gig) I probably wouldnt even have one. Yeah, Id be missingo ut on some exclusives for the ps3 but for the msotp art, there isnt much different between the two.
