Yes it has been attacked allegedly by a hacker group lizard something... it is apparently mostly back online now but nothing will work without a new update, and mine won't even install the new update... keeps failing

 

thanks for the info this is getting a bit ridiculous. iv e been at such a crossroads between xbox 1 and ps4 im leaning more to ps4 but none of my friends have one lol they can stick with xbox one and get lizard licked or whatever there called

Because otherwise, lemme get this straight. Something happened, and then somebody online took credit for it...

Whatever happened to 'pics or it didn't happen'? The new internet is so gullible.

 

Yeah theirs a mass problem for 1000's of players trying to sign onto live and those who are on can barely connect to anything they cant use video apps like youtube,hulu/netflix/funimation they cant boot up online games like defiance anytime people have been
trying are met with a message saying this content requires you to be signed into xbox live even if you are signed in it gives you this msg. so the issue has been happening for awhile.

 

I was fine playing online, i logged off cause i couldnt send a friend request next thing i know i cant log back on. My profile wont load up, keeps giving me an error. The worst part about all this is now i sre how boring it is here where i live.

 

this is starting to really annoy.

any ideas how long until fixed?

 

this must be why it wont sign into xbox live for me when i turned my console on this moring, very annoying

 

constantly getting booted from black ops live. then can't sign back in....all night and just again now

 

and has anyone noticed the game icons at the bottom of our avatar pics, or is that just my screen?

 

i went on the support page on this site and it says everything is up and running, clearly that is not the case.

 

@ Guss Chiggins, the PS4 goes down way more often than LIVE.

 

@Argon - Have you looked into the Lizard Squad? At first I thought the same as you, but apparently this isn't the first time they've done something like this and they've even grounded a Sony execs plane with a bomb threat before.

They've said on Twitter that this was a small glimpse of what's to come as they have a surprise on Christmas or something, so we'll see what happens.
