Whats Forza 5 like online?

My advice is to find more friends to play with first, then play with them online - that way you can have the great online experience of playing online without all of the trash-talking. Just the other night, myself and a bunch of the forum regulars spent
hours playing and enjoying FM5 together online; you can read about our experiences here. Maybe you should join us sometime (and bring your buddy too)!

What I seen mentioned now, basically we get Forza 5 in 2013, Forza 6 not before 2015 but there is talk of a next gen Forza Horizon 2 released between Forza 5-6.

 

Awesome. I mainly play tag virus abd its soooo easy and fast to find matches. Even when its just us new zealanders and australians obline cuz its wayyy past the bedtime fir us abd uk peps its cool probably since xbox 1 has 300, 000 azure servers.

 

Thank you all, i might be brave tonight and face it, i have the difficulty turned up pretty high in career mode now ive tweeked my settings to suit me and my cars. I play quite late at night 11pm-1am UK time, hopefully children and angry people wont be up
at that time haha.

I just feel like i should get more out of my xb1. So far im not really using it as much as i should. I got thief on the day it came out and i havent even opened it!

Will try to hunt down some forza friends.

Joking aside, I think you will enjoy it. Its easy to pick up and play yet also challenging depending on variations of other players. Pro tip, I bash cars that overtake it helps.

 

@ANGEL do ya self a favour and dont listen to cloud his the dirtyist driver ur meet at the beginning of a race he knocked me off the track so i repaid the favour and karma is a you know what. when we all race again ill prob be forced to turn ghost mode on
so cloud cant take anyone out

 

My experience on Forza5 online is generally the turns are a mess especially the first turn. But after a lap or 2 things settle down and the "real" racing begins. You will have people who rage but that's why they gave us mute. On rare occasion you will get
some jerk who feels they need to teach you a lesson or make an example of you. These people will target you (justifiable or not) and make it their goal to ruin your racing fun. After 2-3 races of this treatment I will drop out of that lobby and try to find
another. My overall experience of Forza5 online... awesome. But watch out for that first turn... it's a doosy.

My advice though, if your going to join randoms then search for the races with "Collisions Off" there's a few to choose from now, you'll have a much better experience because unfortunately there's loads out there that will go all out to spoil the race for
you.

But anybody here that's not already on my friends list, feel free to chuck us an add, I'm always up for some races, well most nights!

 

first turns are a nightmare offline i have learnt to just drop back at them to save my car, what does collisions off do?

My sons are hogging the 360 at the minute so i cant follow anyone back, wont let me do it on here or my smartglass app!

I will be about tonight, is it worth having the headset on during races? i have the kinect unplugged mostly as i dont have a huge need for it

 

collisions off makes it so u get no damage. ghost mode makes it so cars go through u (good mode when going against cloud) iv followed you ok angel. i wasnt talking last time but i may b able to next time but i aint on 2night 2moz sunday
