I'm with Rippen here, No Dedis meens no go this time around. Sorry to say but I'm well and truly done with hosting for Aus, NZ and a few pacific Islands. As you can imagine it's just not good for all 3 regions mentioned.

Another Call of Duty game...lol...

 

I am still skeptical about this one because the last few titles have been huge disappointments. True the game looks phenomenal but based on my past experiences with this franchise and the flaws in its multiplayer, I may have to wait this one out a little
bit maybe after Xmas.

 

What I see.... is the same ol' Call of Duty MP. Now just going to be faster paced. And in my opinion Call of Duty had a solid storyline in the Modern Warfare trilogy.

 

CoD and "great story" have been in the same sentence before. Just depends on who you ask. WaW was probably one on my favorites from the series. I thought that had a great story. I'm looking forward to what AW has.

I never even finished the story for Ghosts. It was soooooo boring.

 

Regarding dedicated server support, I hope they get it, but it won't be a factor in my decision to make a purchase. If it's like Ghosts with hybrid servers, that's good, but if it's all dedicated that's even better. Even if it's neither, than I know I've
still had fun (mostly) with past CoD titles without it and this one should be no different. I will be getting the game for both its campaign AND its multiplayer elements, both of which look absolutely fantastic. The only real question I have is do I like the
idea of having the game enough to warrant a pre-order or if I should wait and see what the game is actually like upon release first - especially since Ghosts almost won me over with its advertising (the multiplayer demo for that is what put the nail in the
coffin).

 

I completely hated ghost online almost everything about eh MP. This one looks like it's more of a black ops kind of game. The maps from what I have heard are more linear like the older games. I have not looked to much into it. Do kill streaks stack like
they did in black ops 2 in this one i.e an assit counts towards your kill streak and the way in kill confirmed collecting the tags counted towards your kill streak?

 

I've got it preordered and hoping its better than Ghosts. I liked the storyline for Ghosts but hated MP. I was happy when Destiny came out. I switched games in the clan I'm in (Tactical Gaming) and haven't played Ghosts in over a month.

I love the storyline for Black Ops 1...sorry but I thought it was good; then again I like weird stuff like that. So far AW looks good here's hoping.

 

Has anyone got any more info on the Loot drops? That whole unique weapon thing had my mouth watering, but they haven't said a word since.

 

Fatal, if you're talking about AW, I don't completely understand the concept myself. If you're talking about Destiny, then you're off-topic.

 

I'm actually really looking forward to it and it looks great imo. While Ghosts looked bland I really enjoyed Black Ops II and i don't think people realize how flexible and intuitive the load out system was.

It's kind of funny how Call of Duty can keep my interest as far as MP goes. Not ever title (skipped Ghosts) but I find myself looknig at the competitive landscape and don't see much that I really want to play. Halo's dead to me now and i don't play Spy Vs
Merc anymore it seems on Blacklist. I still love palying Team Fortress 2 though and if I had Gold I'd be playing Shadowrun and Gears 3 still.

But yeah: other then Evolve I don't see much for pvp in my life or the near future which makes me sad.

 

I'm still pretty burnt out on the Call of Duty series and haven't purchased or played a Call of Duty game since the original Black Ops. That being said, the story along with the massive visual overhaul have definitely peaked my interests in Advanced Warfare.
It's not a must buy for me but I'll be keeping my eye on it.
