What you want to see in The Elder Scrolls VI

There was a mod (user made) that ran updated Morrowind on the PC oblivion game. I don't imagine that will help you too much in getting it on the Xbox, but its a way in until/if Beth ever does an official remaster.

Yes to Morrowind. I think it was in one of the tester group sub-forums on the ESO site where they had a poll to see whuch was the favorite Elder Scrolls game of the last three and Morrowind won handily. At the time I kept wondering why FF XII was so much
better graphically than Morrowind until I realized that FF was contemporary to Oblivion not Morrowind.

All those mods are only for PC not Mac :-( I have seen some though and they are really impressive, particularly given what they started with. My only real problem with Morrowind, graphically speaking, is that it is so dark I have trouble seeing. It didn't
help that when I played it I was on an old common TV which was going dark. One of the first things I enchanted was a constant effect nighteye belt which I always wore. Nighteye in Morrowind was much better than the nightvision thing that Oblivion used.

 

When I was looking at music on youtube I also downloaded a FF XII movie. People stich all the cut scenes together from games and make movies of them. The FF XII is a 6.5 hour movie. Now I need to get it onto a DVD so I can watch it on the TV. It's a little
soft on the big screen and would probably look better on the smaller set I got from my Mom.

 

Hmnn! Maybe I'll try that link WC. Thanks! I'll have to get a good hard copy of Morrowind first though. I hate digital copies. They have never liked me. I think I know just the store too. We have a new Retro Game store across the street from my GameStop.
Pretty amazing place too. They have working old games from the Atari and Intellevision days. Lot of fun going in there to look around.

 

I just checked and the PC GotY edition is 13.00 on Amazon.

 

I was thinking about games and stuff and realized that there is one thing everyone want in the next Elder Scrolls chapter. I want to be able to pick things up where and how I want and put them down where and how I want, including having some wall hanging
spaces. If I pick up an object like a helmet or a bee in a jar by it's top; I want it to stay in that orientation when I put it down. I would like some decorating options so that I can hang a rug or a wreath or a (ugh) stuffed head on the wall; whichever I
choose.

In Morrowind, you put your cursor where you wanted something and dropped it. Granted, objects could only be put on flat surfaces but there were flat surfaces aplenty and if a table was cleared, it stayed cleared. Other than the greenhouse, maybe the kitchen,
there was no reason to reset our built house's interiors in Skyrim. In Oblivion, there was the ability to grab things but they were easier to place than in Skyrim.

 

Yes! Have things with a gravity that is upright would be very cool.

 

A "store all" button for whatever category is being looked (ingredients, weapons, misc) at. I can't be the only one that tries to have each chest/container hold only one type of gear.

A unique item which has a fair but massive carry weight bonus -- say 150 pounds -- extra points if it comes from a daedric quest.

If marriage is going to be a game feature, then open up the "list of eligibles".... Ingun, I will always love you from afar. Cause, you know, it's the only thing I can do....

 

I agree about the storage. I want a proper chest or actually at least two by every crafting station. I don't mean sacks either. I know sacks hold as much but I don't like having those sacks and barrels all over my house. I always try to sort my stuff though
eventually I give up.

Speaking of sorting I want the inventory to be sorted better. I get so jealous when I see the inventory screens on the mods that show up on youtube. Either let me name my potions or sort them by type not name. I got to where I named enchanted items boring
things like Alchemy 1, Alchemy 2 or Magic whatever. I kind of shot myself in the foot over that though because I had a series of rings called Useful ring but they weren't the same and I sometimes ended up keeping more than one in inventory.

I would have married Drevis at the college or Faendal when I was an elf but the only eligible elves were low lifes. In fact, there were very few males available I thought worth the effort. I might have considered Valdimar or Gregor had they not kept dissing
me when I walked in the house. That "I hope you're not planning any trouble" got old, especially when I had to kill my own bandits because the house carls go walkabout so much. The supply of women was better.

Good points all, Sarge. Your first suggestion would make even a disorganized person such as myself the model decorum and order. I spend far too much time trying to keep like things in their own places...

A word on marriage, I'd marry Hroki in a second if she'd just give me the time of day... or if I want to marry say, a rabbit, (or large wooden badger) that's my prerogative.

I might add, In ES6 please dispense with the notion that all peoples of Tamriel are filthy unwashed mongrels, who can't even find clean skivvies... and there is only one color undergarment in all the land? After I dropped that sculpture on Vittoria's head
and the dust settled I took her wedding dress, for a souvenir and yes, even she was wearing three day old underwear, on her wedding day no less! How nice for Asgeir later, should their nuptials have had a happier conclusion.

 

LOL! There's a mod for that! You folks are starting to make me feel like a Perv. I have to admit though, I didn't notice the "all the same color" thing. I do usually pick them up and drop them over the wall or something and watch them to see how far they
actually go. I have that one sliding bear down pat now. I can pick him off and wait for him to slide down the road and stop right at my feet.

Hroki is the one in Markarth with the Dibella necklace right? I think I did try to wait this last time just to check on her! Sad!

I do agree about the dirt being excessive. I think they must have swung too far in the other direction from the fancy clothes in Oblivion. Oblivion always bugged me because there was no decent pants for women and Skyrim just carried it further with the over
sexualization of the women's clothes. You know the foresworn were only there to have an excuse for scantily clad people of both genders. Did you notice the ladies get stylish black undies in ESO.

I'm still trying to figure out how to get all three of my dragons visible at the same time.

 

No, you didn't have to kill the bride; you could have killed the skeevy b*tch who had an assortment of victims waiting to be offed when you showed up at the abandoned shack.

All three dragons...at once? As in Ancient, Revered and Legendary? Don't things like that happen by accident? The very few times I've had two dragons in the sky one was an old'un and the other was a young'un with no respect for its elders.

 

Bad? No. Naughty? Definitely, and yes, I noticed the risqué undies in ESO.

Parthy's bones do indeed rest on the Throat of the World in my first play thru. I will definitely spare him and do the skeevy tart in the abandoned shack on this trip through. In my defense and in some instances, acting contrary to your real world counterpart
is one of the points of playing a game perhaps?

LadyB, you might be happy to learn that on the mission to off Vittoria, I was beaten to death approximately 47 times before I discovered I could skip sniping her and being discovered every time, and just let gravity, with a slight nudge from moi, do the
dirty work. And my conscience is clear, I'm naturally clumsy.... : )

Nothing wrong with being a bit of a perv, as long as it hurts no one, and no more than minor misdemeanors are circumvented, might actually be healthy in a lot of respects. Well behaved persons never make history. Wasn't that Churchill?
