  3. Now what?

The kinect is in the box but if I remember correctly, and I've been gone for awile, but the complaints were "if we have to buy the kinect at least make it so I don't have to plug it in, I don't want nsa spying blah blah" well its now able to be disconnected
and yet we complain about backwards compatibility now.

    .

This really does show the entitled nature of our society, there will never be another backwards compatible console as long as the old console is still supported, end of discussion. PS4 isn't bc that's something that will come when 360 and ps3 are no longer
selling and will be an online emulator I'm sure so that is one complaint which won't be addressed. I just don't get it sometimes, if you don't like the system don't buy it, if like me you didn't like the system but still have questions then wait 6 months to
a year and see what happens. Changing your arguments as much as microsoft changes its policies make you both seem like hypocrits i blame it on EA and BioWare for giving in to fan pressure on ME3, now we all think that we are entitled to have companies bend
to our whims, even though microsofts playing along.

No I'm glad I got an Xbox One day 1. I've never regretted it. I don't miss my 360. It gave me years of fun, but it was time to move on.

I'll get a Scorpio day 1 too but this time I'll keep my Xbox One.

I'm glad I got one too. I kept my 360 anyway though since backwards compatibility wasn't available from the beginning anyway. I use the One way more now though.

I keep all my consoles but I'm getting rid of my XBO, I've barely used it and the few games I do want to play I can now do so on my pc. MS have pretty much made it obsolete.

I sill own my 360 and I switch between it and my XOne. To be honest, I've gotten more enjoyment from the X360. Mainly because the XOne doesn't have a large library of games that I enjoy yet. I love Fallout 4 and I am looking forward to BF1, but the only
reason I upgraded was because as a consumer, I'm basically forced to. I enjoy GTA V Online, but since the X360 can't handle any more content updates, I have to upgrade to continue to enjoy the new items. Also, with the 360, I didn't have to spend half a day
installing a game in order to play it. That feature alone has caused me frustration in playing a game I was excited about playing. As time goes on, I'm sure I will get more enjoyment from my XOne, but until then I will continue to play my 360 as well as my
    older systems.

  9. I am totally happy with my Xbox One and with each bc compatibility update my 360 collects more dust. If the Dragon Age games are made bc my 360 will hardly be touched. I love the games I'm playing on my One in fact sold my PS4 to my brother as I never played
it but once and my PS3 has everything I already needed(Uncharted,The Last of Us) My lady is already wanting another Xbox One for the bedroom.

I've been disappointed with in this 'generation of re-masters' and somewhat the system itself. I still play my 360 a lot. Have tons still in my backlog. I do love BC. Just wish we would get more significant additions. I don't regret my purchase. I've just
been underwhelmed with this gen as a whole. Still waiting on the must have games. A game from last gen does not deem re-master worthy in my book. Still trying to figure out how these newer systems are gonna try and give us 4k gaming when they can't even deliver
    1080p as a standard.

  13. What you now know???

When the new generations were shown I was planning to go over to PS4 at first. It had higher specs and better looking games. What actually happened was quite different. One day in November I think it was, I had an email appear on my phone about a 'free'
Xbox One. Well, I only briefly looked at it, assuming that it may be dodgy email, I mean a 'free' Xbox? Really??

When I got home I checked the email again, specifically the phone number and was surprised to learn that it was the number for the Microsoft Store in the UK! So I gave them a call and they confirmed that it was indeed a valid offer, but unfortunately they
had no stock at the time. I can't remember exactly what happened next, but a few weeks a had another call and the order was placed, a free Xbox One was on the way!!

At the time the Xbox One was retailing for £420 in the UK, I'd got one for nothing! Not only did I get that free, I also had a code in my email for Forza 5, get in!!

Early this year I also purchased a PS4 500GB console, which I've upgraded the hard drive to 2TB.

What I now know is that the PS 4 has some games that look amazing just like the XBox ONE.

That seeing a real and discernable difference between the two is psychological.

That it's not really good value for money to buy a console at launch date.

That Publishers are pushing me away from buying new titles with their over priced day 1 digital packages and that I've played many of the same old titles so long that I'm tired of "HALO", "Gears", "Battlefield" and "COD" that I'm no poorer for not falling
for any of the overpriced Day 1 offers.
