    I use to do all my gaming on PC and I couldn't afford it. I'll gladly pay 10 extra dollars per new release and not have to spend several thousand dollars a year on new parts.

    You're definitely over thinking this. It would also cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to make the changes you're suggesting. I like the name. I doubt Microsoft is worried about what immature kids will call it on occasion.
