    What would cause an update to Alpha skip ahead preview to not allow any apps or games to open?


    Hello I have just recently updated preview rings via the Xbox Insider Hub bundle to the alpha skip ahead preview. I updated from the Omega preview on a first generation Xbox, however, I received a short error message while midway applying the update, it corrected itself once that happened back to the update bar percentage , I was unable to get the error message as it quickly resumed update. It continued and restarted as usual, the problem is, it's not recognizing to open any applications nor . unable to send to trace as well please direct me to the correct if any troubleshoot or any advice in general would be great thank you so much for your time

    You have to be in the insider preview to download the avatar beta app. It works on the original Xbox One, the Xbox One S and Xbox One X. It is not rolled out by console model but by which Insider Preview ring you are in. It has now been rolled out to all
    rings.

    Insider Preview has Alpha Skip Ahead, Alpha, Beta, Delta and Omega rings. Alpha Skip Ahead and Alpha are invite only from the development team. You can use any Xbox One family of console in any of the rings.
