What wireless headphones are players using for their Xbox Series X?

I recently got the Series X and am enjoying it, but I got to buy some headphones for gaming. I'm having a very hard time deciding lol. Reviews these days - seems like there's always a ton of hate and regret with every single option out there. What I want to know is - WHAT HEADPHONES ARE PLAYERS ACTUALLY USING? I'm willing to spend some money on a good set, but dang the reviews get me scared. I want info straight from the source haha. My bottom line is: why pay for expensive sets if they have so many issues and complaints? Why not just buy cheap ones? I need help deciding. Help me cut through the B.S. please! Thanks!

    :)

How to use Xbox Elite Series 2 audio jack while wirelessly connected to Win 10 PC?

    Hi,

The 3.5mm headphone jack on Xbox One/Series X|S controllers (including Elite controllers) does not work when connected via Bluetooth. It will only work via USB or the official Xbox wireless adaptor.

Wireless headset not working- no sound from his COD game nor can anyone hear him talking??

Hello Aishypoo2428, My name is oskayra and it will be a pleasure to help you.

I tell you in advance so that there are no misunderstandings, this is a public forum for user-to-user support. We are users who help other users. We do not work for Microsoft and do not have access to any user accounts.

Based on the information you've provided me, there are several possibilities for what could be happening with your child's Xbox Series X.

One possibility is that there is a problem with the console itself. This is possible, but it is less likely that two different wireless headphones will have a problem at the same time.

Another possibility is that there is a problem with the console configuration. You said your son and husband checked the settings, but there may be something they missed. For example, the console's Bluetooth settings may be disabled.

A third possibility is that there is a problem with the wireless connection in your home. There may be interference from other electronic devices that is interfering with the wireless headphones signal.

Here are some steps you can try to fix the problem:

Restart the Xbox Series X. This may fix temporary issues with the console.
Check the Bluetooth settings on your Xbox Series
Try connecting the wireless headphones to another device, such as a phone or tablet. If the headset works with another device, then the problem is probably with the Xbox Series X.
Check the wireless connection in your home. Try moving the Xbox Series X to a different location in your house and see if that resolves the issue.
If you have tried all of these steps and the problem persists, then you may need to contact Microsoft customer support for help.

Here are some additional tips you can try:

Try updating the firmware of your wireless headphones. Wireless headphones usually have an app that you can use to update the firmware.
Try using an auxiliary cable to connect the headset to the Xbox Series X. This will allow you to check if the problem is with the headset or the console.
I hope this helps you solve the problem.

Trouble Connecting Arctis 9X headset to Xbox series X

Hello Carl,my name is Marvina, I will be happy to help you.

I am very sorry for what you are going through, based on the information you have provided, it seems that the problem is related to the configuration of the headphones.

Your headset may not be set up correctly to use the microphone with your Xbox series X.

I've seen this problem before and there are a couple of things you can try to fix it:

Check that the headphones are updated with the latest firmware. You can download the latest firmware from the SteelSeries website.

Check that the headset is properly connected to the Xbox series X. Make sure the headset is turned on and in pairing mode.

Check your Xbox series X sound settings. Make sure your headset is selected as the audio input and output device.

Reset the headphones. You can reset the headphones by pressing and holding the power button for 10 seconds.

Here are some specific steps you can try:

    Update headset firmware

    Go to the SteelSeries website.

    Click the "Support" menu.

    Click "Product Updates."

Look for the Arctis 9X headphones.

Click the "Download" button to download the latest firmware.

Once the firmware has downloaded, follow the installation instructions.

    Check the headphone connection

Make sure the headphones are turned on.
Press and hold the pairing button on the headphones for 5 seconds.

On Xbox series X, go to Settings > System > Accessories > Headphones & Microphones.

    Select Arctis 9X headphones.

If the headphones are connected correctly, you will see a message that says "Connected."
    Check your sound settings

On Xbox series X, go to Settings > System > Accessories > Headphones & Microphones.
    Select Arctis 9X headphones.

In the "Audio input" section, make sure headphones are selected as the input device.

In the "Audio Output" section, make sure headphones are selected as the output device.

    Reset the headphones

Press and hold the power button on the headphones for 10 seconds.

The headphones will turn off and then turn on again.

If you have tried all of these steps and are still having problems, you can contact SteelSeries support. They can help you solve the problem.

    Sincerely,
    Marvina.
