What will happen when the Xbox 360 turns 10?

Unless I am wrong, the xbox 360 will be a decade - 10 years old - this November.

It is my hope that MS will do something special for The Console of the past decade. Like maybe offering 10 free GWG titles, or something of that nature during the Month of November.

So what would you suggest MS should give out on the 360's 10th Anniversary?

xbox 360 wont connect to internet or xbox live

Hi there,

please try to see what happens when you turn the modem/router off for a minute or two, after that power it on again and when it is fully started power up the xbox 360 to see what happens.

TV turns off when I power on my Xbox one

When I turn on my Xbox One, it'll show the Xbox logo and sign me into my account, but then will turn my tv off. This usually happens when my tv is in standby mode. I've never had this happen with my 360 so I don't know what the problem is. I was thinking
it has something to do with my HDMI cable or some setting that I am overlooking. Any help would be great.

 

Yeah, that would be nice. But I wouldn't hold my breath. If they do anything it will probably be a free avatar Tshirt or hat or something.

 

Tell us when its' servers will be cut off.

Um to be serious, they should give nothing.

 

Maybe a free game, an avatar prop, a theme and a gamer pic?

 

If anything, as history shows, it will be an avatar item. Probably a lame one that nobody will want to use anyway. And they might give out a special 10 year addition console to a few random people as well. Those are the kinds of things they've done in the
past.

 

After 10 years I'd suggest MS send an email to anyone still using a 360 and tell them to move on.

I really doubt MS is going to send an email to loyal ten year customers and tell them to go buy a playstation.

 

Vamp: If MS sent me an email like that,, It would only serve to convince me to make my next console purchase a PS4.

But as it stands, I will NOT be going next gen anytime in the near future. So no worries!
