What went wrong from the Xbox 360 to the Xbox one?

O yea, I remember. I don't really like raspberries. Even if it's chocolate, icecream, yoghurt, I have this mental thing about raspberries that I won't eat it. But I accept the challenge Microsoft. Voice Messaging will then get tick off one important thing
off the list. It's just a matter of if and when. And making sure to place feedback on the official feedback site. Put it all in CAPS, that should get their attention

 

I hate cherries and voice messaging. Lucky for me.

 

I've had a few weird issues, although nothing too annoying, thankfully.

1. Friends tab disappearing. This seems to happen quite a lot, although holding in both triggers and pressing Y refreshes the dashboard and brings it back.

2. Parties not working. Thankfully this hasn't affected me much, but occasionally I will invite a friend to a party (or they will invite me) and we can't hear each other. Rebooting the consoles fixes that.

3. Friends list not being available. Again, it doesn't happen that often, but after a year it shouldn't be happening at all.

4. Console not shutting down properly. This seems to be an issue with the latest preview dashboard. Sometimes when I turn the console off, it turns back on, turns off, back on, off - and then it will eventually turn off, except it's fully off so I can't
turn it back on with voice.

I think the best thing to do is to be honest about your experience and report as many bugs as you can - particularly those in the preview program who have access to a bug reporting tool built into the dashboard. Being a corporate apologist or being one of
those people that exaggerates the issues and implies that the console almost never works doesn't do anybody any good.

 

@Sigma. Spot on. Nothing wrong with a little criticism, just the right amount will only make things better.

 

Agreed. Party Chat worked better at launch than it does now. It's very annoying. Even the famous 360 echoes are now appearing on ONES party chat which was mainly due to poor 2.5 jack connections.

 

And while we're at it, I wish they would fix this slow awful forum. Nearly every time I make a post, I have to copy what i write, then refresh the page, then paste and try again.

 

Lol, I like cherries but hate voice messages. My problems are that my cat Loves the XB1 and it's hard for me to say no, she is a big cat. The other is that I still have game crashes, not frequently but sometimes right at the crucial moments of playing. Comparing
to xb 360, I really did hate the "Blades" interface.

 

The Blades were great, how could you hate that simple quick interface?

I haven't read to much about games crashing on the X1 in all honesty, I've had it happen twice on Farcry 4, the game kind of had borders appear around the screen.....a bit like a cut scene, but it just stuck like that until I quit. I have to admit, I did
like the fact that when the game froze it didn't freeze the whole console, i could simply go to the home screen and quit the game.

 

The blades just looked really cheap, there where better non official gui's on the original Xbox.

 

It has nothing to do with my ISP or the router. The xbox is port forwarded in the router settings. It is just the console that sets it to strict for some crazy reason and hard resetting it seems to fix it.
