    How do I maximize my frames per second?

    If the question is what settings on your TV suit best. Look for game mode. Set to game mode and you will deal with the input lag. Some tvs the input lag is crazy. Not sure if this is what you are asking?

    Calibrating Xbox 360 and a tv?

    What you're experiencing is called input lag. All HDTVs exhibit this to some degree, but most which are set up properly for gaming will make input lag negligible. Try going into your TVs picture settings, then under Advanced find the 120/240Hz Motion feature
    and turn it OFF. This should drastically reduce your input lag.

    Also, the "speed' of your HDMI cable has no effect on what you're talking about. There's Standard and High Speed HDMI cables and that's it. I'm assuming you're talking about one of Monsters super-mega-ultra speed cables, which are just a poor allocation
    of AV funds.

    If it has 60Hz, 1080, and lets you disable image post processing or has a game mode then the rest is in the quality of the TV so read some reviews or check them out in store and mess with the image settings. Once you get it make sure to use the Xbox Ones
    built in display calibration tests to adjust the final TV settings. If you watch a lot of Blu-ray movies having a film mode that lets it display custom refresh rates lower than 60Hz is a plus.

    With any LCD or LED tv these days it's best to turn off all Motion enhancing settings or better yet run the input in Game Mode. Samsung buries it in the general settings and not the picture settings. All those picture enhancing features just add to lag and
    more then likely what you are experiencing.

    It could be input lag caused by your TV's settings. Turn of any extra processing, like edge enhancement, adaptive contrast, etc, etc. If it is input lag, it can be greatly reduced by adjusting your picture properly.

    CODukes, remember that input lag is different than response time. The best monitors I have seen are about 9ms of input lag with a 1 seconds response. truly beast. I just (literally today) purchased a 27" monitor for my wife because I found my wife's TV has
    ~100ms of input lag (no game mode). 10ms input lag 6ms of response time. What monitor did you get? Whats funny is my TV a Sharp 52" from 2007 has a 30ms input lag. Which explains why I tend to do better than my wife... :)
