What to do with old Xbox360?

I've an old Xbox360 just lying around collecting dust. I didn't want to just throw it out because, it still works for the most part. I won't get much money from a gaming store for a turn in. I would like to know if I could use it as an extension my laptop so I can use it for additional storage space or is there another option of suggestions. I also am aware that support for 360 hasn't been a thing for many years now. i just don't know what to do with it.

save it and use it. the improvements to the One and then the x series have been miniscule.

That's not possible, even if it were, 360 storage is pretty slow.

If you want more storage for your laptop buy an external HDD, SSD or fast flash drive.

I have an old 360 which I occasionally use, as it's meant to be used, as retro gaming console. Look's really neat on my LG C2 OLED.

it sounds as if your xbox360 dvd drive is on its way out, how old is your xbox360 console and dose it do it with any other games.

euhm.... how do you put your Xbox360 ?

is it standing ? and where is your xbox360 ? close to other stuff with bad ventelation or ?

Because my xbox360 only craches when its too close to other stuff (Xbox360 is 4 Years old)
