What to do when I get the screen that says “Microsoft is having trouble signing you in”

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble. Can you confirm if you’re still getting an error when trying to access Realm Stories? On what platform do you play? Have you already tried to sign out your Microsoft account then sign back in?

I'm having trouble signing into my Microsoft account for Minecraft on the Nintendo Switch, I have tried every way to fix this problem with things like deleting saved data, deleting the whole game, both of them at once, restarting the game, etc. I can't seem to find a way around this issue. Each time I sign in, the web browser I'm using to help me sign in (The QR and the link from the sign-in screen) usually says that I am successful yet it doesn't actually sign me in on my console.

Please let me know if you know what I'm doing wrong or just ways to get around this issue I have.

Restarted PC

Network Connection OK

Cleared Cache and Cookies on Internet Browser.

Tried Firefox. Signing on Microsoft Account. OK, Signed in Microsoft Store. Blank Screen, Clicked Search, no response.

Tried Edge. Unable to sign on, all I get is waiting response.

Tried Crome. Signing on Microsoft Account. OK. Microsoft Store, same trouble as Firefox.

Able to sign on to my Microsoft Account with my ANDROID mobile, Managed to download and install Microsoft Solitaire Collection.

The trouble seems to be with my PC.

I have no trouble with other websites.

When I try to play the game a screen pop up saying: Do you own this game or app? If you have a game disc, insert it now. If you bought this online, make sure you're signed in. If you don't have rights for playing it, you'll need to get it at the Microsoft store.

I am signed in and the game is installed.

Do you have any trouble signing back in when the game claims you aren't signed into Xbox Live? If not, what type of error message do you get? Sometimes signing out of your profile and signing back in can quickly clear this up.
